Conceptually I am a fan of letting life happen to your child, albeit in a safe controlled fashion. Ever seen Finding Nemo? This makes me cry every time, but the dad, he says, he just doesn’t want anything to *happen* to Nemo. He means anything bad because Nemo is disabled and they lost the rest of the family, but what it becomes in practice is not letting ANYTHING happen to him. You have to let things happen to your kids. You have to let life happen. If nothing ever happens, nothing good happens either.

Young people with these issues like we’re discussing are just wrapped in bubble wrap and thing is, sometimes it’s intentional, the parents wrapped them. But sometimes it’s because the parents don’t know how or want to unwrap them, they just wanted a kid, so s/he’s never been taken out of the box. They’re just left on the shelf, which is the unsupervised Internet, due to lack of parental interest.

I also recommend physical outdoor labor particularly for boys. This should be done as they’re following their dads around which of course means that their dads should be doing it as well (and should be you know, in their lives). Used to be, dad would be out there fixing things, working on the car, whatever. I think boys need a dad that helps them become competent and capable. Like they can handle their shit and other people’s shit as it is flung at them. That was what father/son bonding used to be. Seems like now it’s mostly playing video games together. I’m not anti-vidya but that shouldn’t be all dads do to spend time with their sons. But we’re at least 1.5 generations into a thing where sons played vidya with dad and now have their own son and think that’s just what you do. It’s sad.

I’ve known maybe three or four guys above 6’4” my whole life, which is about what you’d expect given height charts, and yet there are SO many freakishly tall troons. There has to be some explanation for that.

To the Lady-Kiwis out here: am I just being daft to assume that a real woman in this abominations age group, who are fairly large with hanging aprons of fat would not have the delusional confidence this troonish horror has? I have this theory that aside form the obvious that they have NO idea what it's like to be women, it's further nailed home due to the fact no real woman would be caught dead looking like this to the internet at large. That's what's kinda sad, I think. Or perhaps it's Darwinism in action. There's so much empirical evidence to suggest that fighting nature on this issue is a profoundly bad idea and yet, so many people of both genders feel like it's their only option.
The miniscule amount of genuine trans people (real, severe dysphoria, disassociation of gender, etc.) have been swamped by what amounts to LARPers and hobbyists, bandwagoning on to a trend for woke points/attention.
When this starts to fall aprt en masse in a decade or so, maybe, the hand wringing and finger-pointing is going to be the shitshow of the century.

There's that pesky female socialization TERFs love to talk about - if an actual woman posted an image of herself looking anywhere near this bad, even fully clothed, in a random FB group of other women... she would be torn apart faster than that cow lowered into the velociraptor enclosure in the first Jurassic Park movie.

And yet, you see troons do it all the time, despite the fact that by any possible human metric they look like a warmed up plate of dogshit. Anything other than the hormones and therapy route for treating gender dysphoria seems to be dismissed as "conversion therapy" by activists, even if it's not of a religious nature and is just a judgement free, counselling session with a psychologist with the end goal of learning to accept yourself as you are.

The only online community of actual women which displays similar behavior would be the fat acceptance movement. Posting photos of themselves wearing ridiculous and revealing clothing over acres of fat as a sort of "empowering" (god, how I have come to hate that word) act. Receiving a tidal wave of fawning asskissing in the comments. Delusion feeding off of delusion, everyone hugboxing eachother. It's so fake and cloying.

There's a clear pattern: the more uncritically "accepting" and "encouraging" (let's just call it "enabling") a community is, the more deluded its members.

There is also some horseshoe theory going on there, of course. Highly exclusive communities also tend to live with their heads firmly lodged up their rectums.
