blacks have racial conscious, its why they can get riled up by stuff like this so much.
A cult has developed around George floyd, not because of who *he* was, but because he's now someone that all blacks can identify with
 
Probably late, but to be honest, when these people say they don’t want “police”, it's clear that what they actually want is a total overhaul of the justice system so it matches their priorities.

They don’t have a problem with the idea of having laws, or a group of people that enforces said laws, or a set of punishments for breaking them. They have a problem with the content of our existing laws, and the fact that they get punished for doing things they don't think is a big deal, while others are free to do things that they consider to be henious crimes. (Like saying mean things and having bad opinions.)

The police are just a scapegoat because they’re generally the first thing that people who get in trouble encounter, just like how people will bitch about the grocery store when the price of milk goes up.

well that and the last few dozen times that a police officer decided to try out some shit he saw on a netflix original the protests that didn't involve any fire were wildly unsuccessful and saw wh*Tey shipped off to witness protection

It'd be nice if they were articulate enough to actually say that instead of screeching about how the very existence of cops is oppressive. I have a feeling if they're not articulate enough to say that, they're not intelligent enough to understand the cause and effect (a second grade concept) of abolishing the police.
