I have a friend who had his trans revelation a while ago (I should have seen it coming, since he was an uggo with a heavy tech interest). Shortly after "coming out" his personality took a turn, what with wanting to slap the trans flag on virtually everything and repeating the same catchphrases, but more importantly he started acting way more snarky and bitter, especially IRL. Later I discovered he was a frequent visitor of /r/traaannns, and that explained so many things when I checked it out for the first time.
He probably got more upset when I turned town a sexual advance I definitely didn't ask for. We don't really talk much anymore.
