My sister married into a Mexican family...the hatred they have for blacks is off the charts, old grandma's talk that would make a klansman blush.
Especially in places where black and mex kids go to school together like Chicago.

Honestly not bad just two major issues

1. Forcing cops to get mal practice insurance, cops are already paid shit in big cities so unless you include a substantial raise to their salary the job would barely pay more than a shift at mcdonalds, with insurance cost. The only people who would be attracted to the job would be people attracted to the power that comes with it. It would also cause cops to be overly cautious and allow more violent crimes to pass since they want to avoid a lawsuit. Regardless of whether the lawsuit falls through or they are proved innocent their insurance would go up taking more of there already meager paycheck.

Either we need to increase their paycheck or accept the fact that like doctors their insurance is included in the bill.

2. the clause about forced racial or cultural make up. It kind of feeds into the problem and removes the impartiality of it. Especially when it takes all 12 jurors to convict and there meant to be made up of your peers, people who live in the same town/city as you not those that resemble you. it's meant to avoid group bias but have people who have a stake in the comunity.

Think of it like this, this system get's passed, a court case comes up and you get people who identify with the race of the acused. All it takes is one extremist for a murderer to go free regardless of skin color as there will be both white and black supremacist made by these riots. Unless the point is to avoid minority communities from screaming racism when a conviction goes through. If that's the case I would put a stipulation that this requirement will disapeer after a decade or two. It works to ease racial tensions now but has the oportunity to stoke division in the future.

I'd also throw in something about simplifying laws and removing pointless, negative, or worthless ones alongside the lack of jail time for small drug offenses. Half the reason the legal system is so expensive is how complex our laws are and there have been multiple cases of people being convicted of either pointless or outdated crimes. There's an old libritarian joke that you break the law ten times before you get to work and it's a little too true. Legal feels would also collapse since a lawyer would only need to do 1 hour of research rather than 10 for a case.

It's well thought out and is a pretty good starting point for redefining the legal system.

You make some convincing points. I don't really know what happens if things truly keep getting worse so I guess my autistic self-esteem based thoughts around focussing on yourself can only go so far.

There is lots of evidence of normal people pushing back, but you're right, how far will they take it. It shouldn't just be rooftop Koreans out right now policing their communities, but a lot more people. The Democrats are trying to call anyone interested in self-defense a terrorist.

If the Democrats win, I guess white people just riot and loot and say you let the blacks do it. Equality. But not really, we'll always have more respect not to shit where we eat.

The reason why Jews were pushing the Civil Rights movement was because WASPs ruled the day back then. It really was a good old boys' club and Jews were NOT seen as white back then. They were still considered Christ killers by a lot of people. But, if they tried to change the system to allow more Jews in to the seats of power, they would have the target on their back. So, they used black civil rights as the means to change laws to make it illegal to keep minorities out. They aren't really that committed to it in principal because you can see how they treat Ethiopian Jews in Israel and basically have an apartheid system. Rules for thee, not for me mindset. But it worked to their benefit to back it.

But we really can get along. I can get along with an educated black person much better than I can some 5th grade drop out living in a trailer park. I know because I've grown up around people like that. Getting along is about shared values, not race/religion/whatever. Now, I'll admit if I had to choose between ghetto trash or trailer trash, I'd choose the trailer trash because all things being equal, I'd feel more comfortable being around people I understand since I've grown up in an area with plenty of trailer parks. And maybe I'd even feel more comfortable around educated white people vs educated POC. But, I don't have a problem with anyone who isn't an asshole. That's really where I draw the line. My neighbor could have a raging hard on for Trump for all I care, as long as he isn't giving me shit for not liking him. Live and let live.

I'm pretty sure the only reason Trump hasn't gone full bore national emergency yet is because the rioters aren't murdering cops in broad daylight yet. I don't believe he's trying to profit off the chaos, more like he hasn't gone for the nuclear option because he doesn't have a causus belli for it yet.

Twitter had to step over the line and blatantly and defiantly act as a publisher before he had an unequivocal reason to threaten Section 230 removal. All he doesn't have yet is cops and soldiers being turned into corpses, but as soon as he does, all bets are off.
