You know all those "He didn't know I was trans" videos? Here's a video from the perspective of the man. I wanna see more cis people do a "I didn't know they were trans" video: "Some pies, motherfucker!"

There has been a ton of studies into human facial recognition and how people gender faces.
In experiments when shown just a face - no hair, body, clothes, men tend to have about a 95% accuracy at assigning the correct sex, and with women it's usually higher with between 95 and 98%.
Hips, breasts, clothes, height, make-up - they're all just distractions... We SEE them.
They can take all the filtered selfies they like, but they don't pass irl, and even the best ones will trigger some kind of cognitive dissonance for the rest of us.
Ill try and dig out some of the studies I've read, they're quite interesting.

It would be interesting to know how many FTMs who are read as male would still be read as male without facial hair. Like a lot of them are weird looking, but women don’t have beards, so anyone with a beard must be a man. That’s why women could pass as men more easily back in the day — in a world where women always wear dresses, anyone in pants is going to be seen as male, even if they look a little off. (And there were instances of men being dressed as women to smuggle them out of places, working on the same principle in reverse).

The funniest thing about troons is that none of them pass in their natural state. The average man needs makeup, feminine clothes, hrt, and plastic surgery to pass as a woman. So if any of them were to walk around barefaced and naked, no police officer is going to call him a madam while arresting him for indecent exposure.
