My understanding is that whether he got the degree is less important than him boasting about doing everything to not pay his student loan debts. Also, I’m listening to his TDS fight with Null right now and it only reinforces the idea that Ethan is a flight risk.
He said he had I think around 5 credits left to fulfill (which roughly translates to one or two classes in a semester/quarter), which is sad, you could complete that online doing summer school; but says he won't since he's already in debt and doesn't feel like he got the $30K+ worth of debt he took on in terms of education received. That logic is also retarded because if you're already in the hole like that and that far along, you might as well just go get your piece of paper that you took on the debt for in the first place.
I remember him saying on one of the episodes (can't remember which one) that he didn't get the grades or finish the last semester or something because he wouldn't pay the exit fees so he couldn't get his degree. It was part of a long winded speech about Bernie and free college that I remember surprised the audience because he was saying he wanted free stuff and the chat was full of people saying things like, "I thought he was right wing" and "Our side pays for things" and if I remember, he kind of got bothered that the chat pushed back.
