I'm probably fucking stupid, but i find it hard to hate gator by himself. He's a pretty jovial fellow, and he's loyal to a goddamn fault.

Pretty much this. He's good guy to talk to and I like him. I think he shields people a bit too much, but at the same time I can't fault someone for loyalty as I am a pretty loyal person to people I like. Maybe even blindly loyal in many instances. Gator has, however, taken positions contrary to Ralph's...maybe not while Ralph is looking, but he's taken them. I'd prefer it if he was open with Ralph publicly, but I guess there's only so much you can get going.

Yeah, I don't hate him either. I do seem to recall that he lied to Warski regarding something about that pinecone girl he fucked in Knoxville or some shit like that but I guess years of listening to the meanderings of a mad gunt does that to you.
