Yeah i enjoyed the show during this time as well as I was under the impression Ralph had humbled himself during his stint and was just satisfied with being the Moderator and platform to hash out the Drama. It seemed so genuinely right that even big players in the Drama Hosting Sphere showed up like Keemstar etc.

I never really thought of the show as "Alt Right" or even Alt-Lite as more of a Keemstar Drama news with commentary and call ins. Its why back in those days I even told ralph I was happy for him because it seemed legit.

Years later and a dozen co-hosts pass, we see the Emperors new clothes in full swing and its Fat, Drunk, Retarded, and very very mad at the internet.

There was a time when anybody could call in and there were no topics off limits. When they started screening callers after the failed irl streams and streaming service bans, the "anything can happen on the killstream" motto died.

Bingo. The PPP saga has been the most interesting thing to happen to Ralph and the Killstream in a long while. Instead of capitalizing on it, Ralph decided to lock himself in an echo chamber and forego audience growth/money.

Rivalries are what made the Killstream. No one cares about Mundane Matt anymore. It's stale content.

PPP admitted on Rekieta's stream that this is all just pro wrestling for a new generation. Speaking of which, Ralph fucked up by letting Rekieta host the PPP vs. Masterson showdown. He missed out on a nice chunk of change.

Earlier in this thread someone linked to this tweet from Gator. Maybe instead of sperging out over Star Wars, Gator should analyze and try to fix something he has actual control over: The Killstream.

The show basically died once it got kicked off youtube, the whole draw of the show is that you could bully people onto it, and since it was big at the time, it put a decent amount of pressure on whoever was the target to respond. Knoxville was the dead-cat bounce, with Miami being the show's complete implosion. That was around the same time that Ralph got this retarded thought that HE was the show's main draw, and he is to some degree, but for all the wrong reasons.

he went from being the ringmaster to the lead performer. Ralph knew he hosted the online Jerry Springer show, but stopped being the guy going "this is the news im just reporting it" to "fuck you; you pedo! all is well there is nothing to report"

As for the show itself, it basically went to shit a few weeks after the knoxville fight. before then you had dozens of lolcows and conflicts all springing up to the point where the show would go for 5 hours sometimes, and still not get through all the shit they wanted. look at the charity stream, Ethan had about 2 dozen different guests on, not including callers. if Ethan wanted to do a healstream now, how many guests could he get? 3 (Dick, Dame, and mark collett) even election night 2018, Ethan got Dick, Jim, Quarterpounder, emily yocuis, and even Keem stopped by. And that was for what was supposed to be a small low key stream. instead it turned into fucking chaos.

there were so many people involved who weren't yet tired of IBS as well as new guests hopping on because the killstream was the top of youtube at that point (boggie, sargon, keem) that just can't happen now that its on d.live.

TL;DR the killstream has lost its magic because the magic supply isn't there anymore. everyone is doing their own boring thing and doesn't want to jump on someone else's show. you never knew what would happen in the IBS days and now they're gone.

Listening to ralph talk about Mad at the Internet is pretty funny. The level of anger that a someone took telling internet lore stories in Ralphs discord to kill time and made it a show that was then immune to the collapse of the gunt-orbiting community is something we definitely havent seen the last of.

The contrast with the Kumite was always pretty stark. No dead air, better engagement with guests, actual structure to the show, he also at the time had a really good thing going with Zidan.

On another note does anyone remember the show that Flamenco did with Null, Geno Samuel and Randbot2020, last year,back when Ralph was on the Pills and wasn't streaming?

I was about to use it as an example of what could have been a far better alternative to the Killstream because that single episode bordered on being Brilliant. However Flamenco privated it for some reason (I know Ralph made a few snarky comments about it, particularly the graphics and the fact that it was able to be on YouTube).
