I'm paraphrasing the great @Dr. Boe Jangles Esq. (It's especially fitting because I'm drunk) here when I say:
Imagine how your life has changed in two years. The things you've done and accomplished, your triumphs and failures. I know in two years my life has changed a lot for better and worse. If we're halfway intelligent there's little to no chance we'll make the mistakes of our past.

Russ has spent two years learning nothing. He's making the exact same mistakes he made then. He'll probably continue to make these mistakes as many times he's able to. You could actually feel sorry for the guy...until you remember it's Russel Greer. Then it's hilarious.
More than two years. This thread is 3 years old and he was prolific online before even that. His first TS lawsuit was in December of 2016. He's been making posts about hookers and famous women for over half a decade. I don't want to overshare but in the last 5 years I've graduated, had multiple loved ones die, had a life changing surgery and many other things happen. I imagine all of us have had a lot of significant events happen in that time. We most likely had a variety of goals, some minor and some grandiose, whether it be a career, an education, relationships, etc. Our objectives and paths in life changed a lot and led us to new places. And that whole time, Russell has had one single, solitary objective in life: A never ending quest for fame. Not for a deep or meaningful contribution to an artistic medium, but fame in the most basic, bland, vain way. He just wants to be a celebrity. Someone who gets his picture taken, has people clap for him, gets the attention of hot women, and who gets paid tons of money just to exist. Every single thing he has done in that time, from his book to his lawsuits and everything else, has been done with the ultimate end goal of acquiring fame and the inevitable free sex with pop stars that comes with it. He's destroyed every opportunity and relationship he had in his quest to be a celebrity, and he hasn't even made a single step in the right direction, but is still delusionally convinced he's destined for greatness and it's everyone else's fault he hasn't made it yet. It's truly a modern tragedy, a man with a physical disadvantage in life who could've become a productive part of our more tolerant society but wound up destroying himself with his desire for fame and his inability to recognize his own flaws. And here he goes again, trying once again to force his way into the spotlight. Everyone but him knows he's bound to fail yet he won't even consider for a second that he could be wrong about anything.

She also has a song called 22. Not sure if that is connected. But considering the pattern with his lyrics...

To properly flatter a celebrity you have to cram as many of their works into your wooing song as possible, regardless of how it affects your song structure, rhymes, or if it even makes sense.

Early on with the I Don't Get You video, I had the idea to do little VH1-style popups pointing out each time he referenced one of Taylor's songs, but there were just too many. Right off the top of my head, there's Fifteen, White Horse, Love Story, All Too Well, Mean, Shake It Off, and Blank Space.

That's a lot of flattery.

Just because this chimp managed to escape its cage and put on a suit doesn’t mean it should be allowed in public. He needs to be tard wrangled back to his habitat stat.

If his life is a tragedy, it couldn't happen to a more deserving person. This is the man who would make it a law that women could not refuse him sex and who gets furious when women dare associate with males other than him. He vindictively files lawsuits to punish celebrities who ignore him; yes, it's partly because he's a moron, but you can bet the (kiwi) farm it's also punitive to at least some degree. He believes society's norms and rules do not apply to him because he's special (and he is, just not in the way he thinks.) He is a controlling, self-centered, vindictive little toad who destroyed his own life before hitting thirty because he was too stubborn and prideful to take advice or believe that the world does not, in fact, revolve around him.
It's still tragic that he's ruining his own life, but there's no denying he's getting exactly what he deserves.

Don't forget this is a person who blamed Ariana Grande for the terrorist attack at her concert in Manchester, England because she didn't bow to his whims. Don't forget this is a guy who harassed a mentally unstable girl who ended up committing suicide, but not because of him, and he tried to blame his critics for her death despite her family telling him he and they had nothing to do with it and to leave her out of his book, but he included her anyway. Remember how nasty he gets when told no if you ever start feeling sorry for him. He deserves no sympathy.

It really bugs me when he says he has "his" paralegal degree and not "a" paralegal degree and I can't figure out why.

Because it isn't a degree at all. I mean, even if it was, in my state, the (real) community colleges would award it as an Associate of Applied Science.

Butternut Squash here got a participation certificate from upstairs business college. At best, he could put his tard trophy up on the fridge with his other macaroni art.

He posted it, and it appears to be an actual degree, so he's not lying about that. I can't recall if the school is accredited or not but regardless, it's clear Russ didn't pay attention for the most part, so his degree is worthless.

Also remember that time Taylor Swift visited a girl who had 3rd degree burns over half her body and Russ told a friend of the mother that she shouldn't bring that up because it was "rubbing salt in the wound" of his plights and "you can't imagine the Hell I've been through"? The eight-year-old girl who had to go through ten months of daily medical torture just so she could walk again after explosive took off her goddamn skin?

Was about to comment something along the lines of how he's clearly never seen debridement of burns (it is rather unpleasant) but ... it wouldn't matter, would it?

I forgot the "she called me false things" bit. We can add "doesn't understand people are allowed their own opinions of you" to the list of things Russ is clueless about. And it just shows how unintelligent he is that he can't grasp that most people see a celebrity do something for a fan, and understand they won't do that for just anyone who asks.

You're right. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve all the failure he gets, he does. It's a tragedy in the sense that he was born with a disadvantage (looking like a sped) and got a chance at a full life, but pissed it all away demanding more to satiate his hedonistic ego and entitlement. But you're right about everything you said, he does file his lawsuits as a way to punish famous women for not doing what he wants and he does believe he should be allowed to rape women, so I have zero sympathy for him.

My point is that you could make a tragedy-esque story out of something similar to Russell's life. It would start off with him being born with his disability or some similar physical deformity, maybe being mocked for it to get sympathy from the audience. But then over time his actions get more and more vile and inexcusable as his continuous awful behavior undoes the goodwill one may have for him and slowly the audience turns against this monster of a character. It's probably how most people's opinions of Russell change over time in real life. If they meet him without ever having heard of him before, they'll probably try to be nice to this guy who they think is re/tar/ded. Over time as they get to know him more they find out just how awful he really is and their desire to be nice to the tardo slowly fades away, and eventually they stop interacting with him altogether, especially if they're female because Russ will use his disability to try to shame them into going out with him. At the same time, though, maybe this wouldn't make for a good story because Russell's actions would be considered too outlandish and absurd to most people who don't know about him.

I guarantee you that when Taylor hits the news for something like this, and six year olds get excited, their parents gently explain to them that Swift is not Santa and can't visit every kid who wants to meet her. That their chances of meeting Swift are very slim. And the six year olds understand. They're disappointed and maybe cry for a bit, but the next day they've moved on.

What I am saying is that six year olds have more intelligence and maturity than Russ.

Yeah. This is why we suspect Russ may have been spoiled, because it's clear the guy doesn't understand the word "no" or that the world's not fair, and just because you think you deserve something doesn't mean you'll get it, no matter what you do.

We have at least 50 Greer experts on this thread, he could at least reach out to one of us.
I'm a Greer paraexpert, which is basically almost as good as a real Greer expert. It took me five years to become one, but that's because I took a year off to earn money to fuck hookers. Anyway, I'll go on Nick's show and do a PowerPoint and a dance and woo Sriracha with my wooing words, and then she'll suck me my penis and Nick will be so impressed that he'll make me famous.

100% seriousposting here: Russ would make an excellent book. He has kind of a "story arc" to his antics- tragic origin, fateful misadventure, quixotic quest for Taylor- that would produce an epic literary work akin to an NYTimes deep dive or really long Medium post in due time. Unfortunately, whether "Discriminated: The True Story of Russell G. Greer and How He Became Rightfully Known as Frivolous, Litigious, and Crazy" ends up as a comedy or a tragedy depends entirely on Russell's future interactions with the criminal justice system. Also he's super litigious, so it'd have to come out after he's dead (or broke).

I prefer Invasive and Troubling: The Russell Greer Story. If I wrote it, it would have a foreword by Taylor Swift consisting entirely of "who the hell is that?"

As for how his legal charges will turn out; well, I suspect he'll get off lightly at first, but will squander the chance to improve by violating his probation because he doesn't think he has to obey the judge.

We can get the guy who made that Netflix Ted Bundy movie to make it.
