He got a new Blue Snowball mic. To me, it's clearer but makes his voice sound nasally.

I gotta admit. It is an improvement over the microphone he was using before.

Well it's a start. He might want to adjust the EQ in Audacity. But that would take effort on his part.

Already a definite improvement.

It won't improve how boring his reviews will be or how asinine his arguments can sound... but at least it won't be a chore to simply just listen to him now.

Was this video really necessary?
Couldn't he just make a review with the new mic and say its new there?

His voice does sound better I'll admit. That's about all that I can say.

Shame he doesn't have Final Cut Pro though. The equalization feature could be useful.

I found this to be pretty funny.

Eh, I'll give him this. It doesn't sound like he's eating a box of crispy rice cereal anymore. But that voice just sounds like he's sick (though given his status lately, I'm not surprised if he still was when recording this).

The mic sounds better, but he's still shit at editing his audio so it won't make a difference. He should either learn to use Windows Movie Maker better (or upgrade) or get someone else to edit his videos for him.

At this point, I think only the latter option would be feasible. And as I don't see that happening any time soon, I guess we're stuck with poorly made WMM videos.

Shocking. He actually used money, to get something useful. And the quality isn't crap.

kudos, I guess. Buying things your work better should be a normal thing for Enter.

Good for him for actually taking a step in the direction of professionalism. A small step, but a step nonetheless.

Now we just need to wait and see if he will ever learn that microphones of decent quality to not require one to talk with their mouth around it. I can totally hear all his tongue smacks and saliva noises. It's terrible.

At least some of his patreon money is going towards funding the actual show instead of his personal life. Not that I don't doubt he'll do anything more substantial.

The better the mic the more you hear. It always irritated me when people didn't understand that. When I recorded a singer at one point I had to show the guy how to sing in a way in which his various mouth sounds and steps on the floor wouldn't end up on the recording. Enter could learn to do the same thing when he speaks, or edit the noises out.

Now that I think about it, this kind of reminds me of the old Bathory demos which were recorded with low quality mics. When he got some better mics to record the band you started to really notice that he was recording in a garage because the sounds of lawnmowers, toilets flushing and dogs barking started to appear on the recordings.

Maybe we'll start hearing some amusing background noise now.

Guys
don't forget that Enter tried to improve changing his editting program before
but he went back to movie maker because it was more "pratical"
so don't get your hopes up on a quality improvement

Movie Maker is by no means a hard program to use, so I have no idea why he's so bad at it. Maybe he doesn't realize you can zoom the timeline in? Hell, I'd offer to edit his videos for him myself if I cared more and I wasn't 100% sure that a message to him would either go unnoticed or be ignored.

Sad thing is, it only zooms in only to a point (i.e you can't actually cut individual frames). But I use Sony Vegas, so who am I to say?
