H3's one of trump's chosen people and has a lot of connections with the youtube establishment, he also pretends to be this really nice guy so it's no wonder most youtubers side with him.

Personally I want to see these two do a boxing match. If Keem wins it will be funny to see Ethan get smacked around. If Ethan won it would be an upset that Keem could never live down. But there is not a gold briefcases chance that Ethan would ever agree.

The situation reminds me of Boogie. For years people were calling out his shit, but Boogie kept pushing the "I'm just a nice fat loser! I'm trying his best!" image, so it took a while for people to realize just how awful he was.

Ethen's been pushing the "good guy" image for a while, more casual Youtube fans won't be aware of his bullshit antics and will only remember him from his older videos. Couple that with the fact that Keemstar has always been controversial and easy to hate, it's not really surprising that, at least initially, casual fans are on Ethan's side. It could change with his take down video, or it might just be another Boogie situation where Ethan won't face any real damage to his reputation until much later down the road.

Muta makes a good point early on in the video where he says that people are either going to love or hate them. Unlike most typical one-sided YouTube drama, this might be really polarizing and dividing for the community, maybe evening showing a dissonance between creator and viewer. We sort-of saw it with James vs Tati, but that was very early on in the drama where viewers were confused about who's side to take. For this shitshow, we'll simply have to wait and see.
