each passing year i have less faith it'll become real

and if it does, i dont know if i trust modern day rockstar not to fill it up the ass with shitty mp and microtransactions

I'm really worried with the departure of Dan Houser the "soul" of Rockstar is going to be gone.

But I try to be hopeful and a Bully 2 is a big one I'd love to see, the premise of the game still has so much potential but both versions of Bully are pretty dated today, seeing that premise done with modern tech has loads of potential.

My personal idea for a Bully 2 by the way would be a 1980s period piece, because I don't know if the premise would really make sense in a modern setting.

If R* really wanted to be the antihero of SJW culture, they'd release Manhunt 3 with women as enemies. Imagine executing a woman in the same vein as the male NPCs.

Bully 2 in modern settings would likely be college students with devices, picketing, transgender characters galore and unfortunately multiplayer.

I dont trust the term early development when it comes to Rockstar, especially when far more prominent and trustworthy leakers have said they have been lead to believe GTA VI is at least to the level that GTA V was during its reveal trailer.

That clinches it, "early development" is code for "before we start chopping the game up"

Why call it GTA 6? The next GTA sounds plausible at this time.

I wonder what this would be for GTA V after its successor's announcement. Would GTA V have another port on next gen?

Personally, I would've prefer a Bully 2 announcement. GTA was inevitable to have a follow up. YouTube practically turned it into a meme so the excitement is diminished.

What R* game would you like to see return?

Again, I'd love a Bully sequel (with or without the original cast). I'd like to see a Manhunt 3. Maybe even an experimental GTA like Chinatown Wars.

Although I'm glad CW was released when R* was humble. None of that pay to win crap.

I would like a new Max Payne just to finish the series, although I'm worried that they might Last Jedi Max given the current state of Rockstar.

R* should try a game based on the mid-evil or apocalyptic setting and keep away from GTA for a little bit. Playing with a GTA 6 story is like playing with fire, especially with the political climate along with them raking in money with GTA 5 online.
singleplayer dlc has potential, GTA Online is already apocalyptic on its own

I want more Lemmings, Uniracers, Body Harvest and Space Station Silicon Valley.

Those were developed by DMA design. If you havent already heard that they became Rockstar North for the quadrillionth time, then hear it again.

I don't know about that.
The story of Max Payne is done.
Even Max Payne 3 was kind of pushing it.
Like where would you even go at this point?
Would you just retread max being a depressed sad sack even both 2 and 3 ended with him getting over it and moving on?
And if you got a new main character it wouldn't really be Max Payne anymore would it?
The only way you could continue the story is alternate continuity stuff.*
And that's a bit hackneyed and cliched don't you think?
*I like 3 but the Mona lives ending of 2 is where the series really ended for me.

GTA V is free via the Epic store.. Though 2 Factor is required.. Comes with a free GTA Online Starter Pack.

2K and Hanger 13 recently announced a Mafia Trilogy for PS4, Xbox One & PC.

The coup de grace of this trilogy is the Mafia: Definitive Edition, a "faithful, but expanded remake" of the original 2002 game built from the ground-up.

The centerpiece of Mafia: Trilogy, Mafia: Definitive Edition, is a complete overhaul of the original game that was released to widespread critical acclaim in 2002, and improves on the beloved classic in every way imaginable. Rebuilt from the ground up by Hangar 13, it’s a faithful but expanded 4K- and HDR-ready remake that not only makes dramatic improvements to the original’s visuals and gameplay, but also builds upon its award-winning narrative and adds new features like motorcycles and collectibles to the 1930s city of Lost Heaven. Mafia: Definitive Edition will debut on August 28, 2020 and is now available for pre-order on its own and as part of Mafia: Trilogy.

As it's a trilogy bundle, Mafia II is "remastered" for PS4, Xbox One & Steam. This comes with all the story DLC. If you have the Steam version, you'd be upgraded to that at no cost.

Mafia III will just be the same game with all the story DLC. BUT, say you own the game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One or Steam, you will have to download an update that will give you the three story DLCs at no cost.

Mafia II: Definitive Edition will be automatically granted to all existing owners of Mafia II on Steam at no additional cost. All existing Mafia III owners on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam will be upgraded to Mafia III: Definitive Edition at no additional cost. Customers who own a combination of titles will receive special discounted upgrade offers to complete their trilogy.

Since this is an update, if you own a physical version of Mafia III, you will receive all DLC at no cost after downloading it.

Now, I've seen gameplay of Mafia II: Definitive Edition. It looks the same to me as the original release. At best, a PC port with maximum settings.

The original Mafia will be the reason to get the trilogy, but $30 for Mafia II seems like a tough sell for slightly prettier visuals.

first Mafia really deserves a remake, because game mechanics aged like fucking m1lk

Yusuf Amir was my favorite character in the GTA IV saga.

A main character in The Ballad of Gay Tony DLC, he was over the top, exorbitantly rich, absurd, and above all: funny. Basically one of the satircal depictions of rich people in GTA, only he is more like a child with his money (it's inherited from his father). ANd he's a Arabic real estate developer.

They retconned his character from the original GTA IV; he was depicted as serious.

He even had his own song dedicated to him:
