Zoom is perhaps the worst “person” to have inserted into the PPP vs Ralph & Dick story arc. Of all the people I’ve been exposed to on this website, Zoom is pretty much the best candidate for antisocial personality disorder (baring the extreme case of those Zoo-Sadists). That is why I put person in scare quotes, because Zoom really isn’t much of a person as he is this unreflective entity who tries to act as if there is a person embodied in that sack of shit.
That dude has almost no affect in his voice and he tries to match a raised or lowered tone based on learned social cues, but it is so fucking hollow. This isn’t just some kind of ‘tism either, his timing and vocal register are spot on, but the act is so cognitively meaningless to him that it is almost like a robot reading lines. The best way I can describe it is seeing a drawing that at first glance looks well done, but a few seconds later it becomes obvious that it was traced. There is no awkwardness in his interactions because Zoom doesn’t understand what it means to feel awkward, that is why he can socially engineer so well.
His capacity for mischief dwarfs his actual credibility. Zoom compulsively lies, even when he doesn’t need to lie, he still finds a way to do so. His motive for doing this is as shallow as it is obvious; because he can and moreover he wants to see what people will do. That is it. That is all you ever need to know about Zoom. Everybody knows this guy is a liar and yet he can still insert himself into some honest drama and make himself an actor in it through sheer effort.
There is a lot of mean shit you can say about guys like Ethan Ralph, Dick Masterson, and PPP. At the end of the day 99.7% of the traffic of this website could sit down with either of those three and still find ways to relate to them, their flaws, and their vices. You’d have an impossible time trying to do that with Zoom, there would be a simulacrum of a conversation, he’d say appropriate things, and he’d do overt behaviors that seem like he is engaged, but he wouldn’t be. He’d be going through motions he’s been practicing since childhood. He’d merely be on autopilot until you displayed some kind of potential for entertainment.
I think Null is ultimately correct in his decision to basically blacklist Zoom, but for the wrong reasons. I don’t think of Zoom as a pedophile because that carries such a strong attachment of emotional desire and need for intimacy with a certain “type”. I don’t think Zoom has a type or craves any sort of intimacy with any kind of human being, child or otherwise.

edit: also i think any blacklist should be more lenient, not a total ban on zoom but just something that more easily results in deletion or bans if its not related or shilling. though id be scared about what would be considered that and i have a feeling more things would fall under that umbrella to ownership than to users

Oh man why isn't this in the Zoom thread? My initial assessment of Corey was very similar to yours and I think has a lot of truth to it. We also disagree on a lot of key factors though. Maybe you'll read through the Zoom thread and post over there, because I don't see any point in doing a major psychological work up on Zoom in an entirely unrelated thread. I think Null's decision to blacklist Zoom was the absolute worst thing he could have done, again for reasons I outlined in his thread over 30 or so pages.
Anyone saying that PPP is involved with Zoom is exceptional. Corey has been trying to insert himself into this from the beginning by trying to bait PPP into paying attention to him. PPP/Godwinson absolutely ignored him so he was forced to move on.

He also later admitted he did know who he is, though, or at least that he'd talked to him in the past. He was obviously baiting PPP to say something. It all depends what the meaning of "is" is anyway. He never had sexual relations with that Zoom.
I thought it was autistic and wrong, or at least useless, but whatever. The number of times I ever plan on posting Zoom content will never exceed zero. My opinion of PPP went up a couple notches nearly instantly where he ghosted if Zoom got on, and my opinion of Nick sank for having this fuck on at all, ever. The payback arc for that dumb decision was so instant, though, that it was hilarious.

The special prosecutor had found out about an affair and was grilling him over whether he had a sexual relationship with Lewinsky. His statement 'There's nothing going on between us' was true because the relationship had ended. Clinton was obviously trying to avoid perjury or contempt of court.
I mean he was still a scumbag but getting impeached over that is bullshit and was seen as bullshit - it wasn't a high crime or misdemeanor.
And it led to the ridiculous failed impeachment of Trump over non high crimes and misdemeanors too. The US has gone from impeaching Nixon over what seemed like a valid case of obstruction of justice - so valid members of his own party abandoned him - to the farces that were the failed impeachments of Clinton and then Trump. And you just know the next time the Democrats get in the Republicans are going to be on a hair-trigger to impeach. Tit for tat failed impeachment over nonsense is bad for the health of the system.

I agree on that, but Clinton's fundamental mistake there was confusing the standards of behavior that govern lawyers and litigants with what voters are willing to endure. He was not guilty of perjury. He was guilty of looking really bad, though. The impeachment of Trump is no better than what was done to Clinton, though, and it is really a degradation of the process that should be used for high crimes to use it in such a puerile manner, twice within my lifetime.
This is a PPP thread though we should quit shitting it up with discussions of bullshit like constitutional law and get back to fat people's gunts and assholes.

You shouldn't get so angry about exegesis. Reasonable people can disagree on this stuff as my scriptural studies teacher told me. He teaches at the Reformed Church of Mengele The Scientist by the way, which I thoroughly recommend. It's much more relaxed than those stiffs at the Orthodox branch.

the "often lighthearted" was to point out that it was never supposed to be a damning indictment, calling someone a janny was never meant to be like calling them a pedo or anything, it would be like decrying people for devaluing the word fag when calling a mod a fag in varying contexts.
