There's literally no way left now to say he didn't know better.

Are PPP's early videos available anywhere? I never got to see them before he got flagged down. If not, how was it all presented? Did it come off as autistic pearl clutching about Dick using DOX to extort people into defending him, or was he clearly trolling at that point as well?

To me, the first shot fired was a solo PPP video that came off as mostly critical of the Jesse dogpile, nothing too wild. A lot of "these men are hypocrites and cowards. they would have turned Mundane Matt's dms into a year of content, instead they shout down Jesse so the dms don't get an audience". This is followed by a full dramatic reading of the texts to get us the hot goss that the killstream refuses to cover, then commentary over the killstream. Most of that was likely calling Ethan a degenerate and pointing out how much of a homosexual Gator is.

Second shot (iirc) was the Godwinson video where he made explicit reference to the x-files when setting up the "conspiracy", absolutely said the stuff about dox control. That was the first 90 seconds or so, and he then spent 18 minutes tearing into Toad McKinley and not talking about a conspiracy. The conspiracy was simply a framing device to set up an attack on Toad McKinley and spice up that diatribe with a little intrigue. No reason for the conspiracy thing to take off, it should have been obvious what it was about. And yet... That video appears to have been lost in the channel transition

It's not assumed. Nick at least had direct interaction with him before and had his mods reminding him of who he was and telling him not to do it. @Spectre_06 can confirm that. Also, PPP verbally reminded them who he was as an alleged pedo and Ralph a-log who took things way too far. PPP said he would be leaving if they had Zoom on.

However, Nick didn't really know anything about PPP until before the chat successfully egged on Nick to invite PPP on. Before that, the main instigator Nick would have known about is PodAwful, from his earlier Killstream appearance. Nick even had to ask who the fuck PPP is when the chat kept bringing him up. That much is clear. You can even hear Nick ask Dax who the hell this PPP person is.

If you replace "fat idiot from Canada" with PodAwful, I think you're probably spot on. Neither PPP or Zoom were planned by Nick that night.

I think Nick probably just blindly trusted Dick, he got his start covering Dick Show lore and has been a huge fan of Dick for as long as he's had an online presence, from what I can gather. I'm not sure if I buy that he didn't remember Zoom though, considering that Zoom made a major appearance on one of his most notable streams, the Tonka destruction. Someone on the Nick thread said that Nick misspoke and meant to ask "why should I not bring Zoom on?" which still seems weird to me. Yeah, I'm not fully buying that he knew the full story with Zoom prior to gator cleaning it up at the end of nick's stream, but regardless of why he tweeted what he did after the fact, it made him look like a retard.

The Digibro shit means absolutely nothing to me.
