------------

President Trump on Sunday repeatedly lashed out on Twitter at former President Obama, days after reports that Obama had expressed concern over the Justice Department's decision to drop the case against former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

Trump spent much of his Mother's Day tweeting and retweeting various accounts, with many of the posts aimed at his predecessor. In one tweet he simply wrote "OBAMAGATE!" In another post, in which he retweeted a supporter's declaration that Obama was "the first Ex-President to ever speak against his successor," Trump wrote, "He got caught, OBAMAGATE!"

Earlier on Sunday, Trump retweeted conservative commentator Buck Sexton, who claimed that "the outgoing president"—an apparent reference to Obama—"used his last weeks in office to target incoming officials and sabotage the new administration." Trump in his retweet wrote, "The biggest political crime in American history, by far!" Sexton is a former employee of Hill.TV.

The president also retweeted multiple accounts that posted memes taking aim at Obama, including one account that posted a graphic of Obama over the slogan, "Watergate will look like a parking ticket."

Trump's Obama-related tweets were just some of the many comments he posted on Twitter Sunday, with others lashing out at figures including CNN's Brian Stelter and NBC's Chuck Todd.

His tweetstorm came after his administration's controversial move to drop charges against Flynn, who had been accused of lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russia before Trump took office. The decision, led by Attorney General William Barr, was met with swift condemnation by Trump's critics.

Obama became ensnared in the unfolding drama after a private phone call between the former president and members of his administration were leaked to Yahoo News on Friday.

“The news over the last 24 hours I think has been somewhat downplayed — about the Justice Department dropping charges against Michael Flynn,” Obama reportedly said.

“And the fact that there is no precedent that anybody can find for someone who has been charged with perjury just getting off scot-free. That’s the kind of stuff where you begin to get worried that basic — not just institutional norms — but our basic understanding of rule of law is at risk," he continued. "And when you start moving in those directions, it can accelerate pretty quickly as we’ve seen in other places.”

The White House did not immediately return a request for further comment.

The judge is the ""Honorable"" Emmet G Sullivan, who presided over an ACLU trial to bring back a mother from El Salvador being deported without judicial approval and- Oh Dearie me.

In 2015 Sullivan presided over a FOIA lawsuit involving the matter of Hillary Clinton's private email use while Secretary of State.[17]

Quick disclaimer, he ordered the State Dep. to recover emails to see if she did any wrong-doing, but forgive me for noticing that weird coincidence.

"You can say you're innocent, but NOT in a court, a court is not a public forum for you to promote any views on your alleged innocence, or anyone else to try and assert same. However, anyone who wants to tell us why you're guilty, even if they aren't possessed of any first-hand knowledge or evidence is welcome to come in and give their .02"

Sure, I don't see a problem with that if you don't.

How did gorilla man Cernovich insert himself into the Flynn case? More importantly, why was he allowed to?

Obamagate trend on Twitter and became worth enough for Styx to vlog about it.

Some Youtubers gived me some chuckles.

BIDEN: "Who are you?"
OBAMA: "I'm Obama".
BIDEN: "Are you here to clean my pool? Shine my shoes?"
OBAMA: "No. I was the black president".
BIDEN: "Oh yeah, I saw that movie".

Then why did it take 12 years for this to come out?
We were all screaming about this shit the whole time. Young ignorant people who didn't pay attention to politics screamed that we were racists and insisted we be deplatformed.

It's like your brain is trying to show you reality but you keep backing off. Just open your eyes and look at this shit, put yourself in the other side's shoes for a second. Ask yourself, if Trump wasn't a tool of russia, if there never was any valid intelligence to that effect, what does that mean?

Now, try to imagine you're a national security worker dude, and part of your job is talking to foreign dignitaries. Then a co-worker asks you some random questions about your day at work. But then it turns out the president secretly told your co-workers to find something wrong, and suddenly you doing your normal job is painted as you being a traitor.

Yeah this is way worse than a businessman doing some slick bullshit and cheating you out of money in a semi-legal fashion. It's not even on the same scale.

Nope. I'm serious.

You really didn't notice what was going on even though it was being reported?

That's okay, most people got swept up in "Michelle Obama is so breathtakingly, effortlessly, stunningly brave and strongk and beautiful." I mean, that was on never-ending repeat since 2008.

I never cared much for Michelle. Then or now. The last first lady I admired was Laura Bush. Dealing with two Bushes can't be easy.

Now subpoenaObama is trending.

Can someone explain this trending business to a person who doesn't understand twitter? Can something only trend for one day?

I think it's curious that so many people seem to be saying that they expect or they want Trump's administration to "take it easy on Obama" because they don't want the precedent to be set wherein a sitting President in effect indicts and imprisons the former President. I can't for the life of me understand where they're pulling that from because it's not as though there isn't a basis for why his administration would do that.

He wouldn't be indicting a former President for shits and giggles, he'd be indicting him for willfully committing the worst scandal in American history. Do you want to talk about setting a terrible precedent? I would call completely ignoring a situation where-in a sitting President conspires with the head of the FBI, the CIA, dozens of lawyers and cabinet officials and what he assumes to be the incoming Presidential candidate (Hillary) in order to both frame a Presidential candidate and then attempt to oust them via an illegal coup built on falsified evidence.

It is not possible for America to survive if the concept of the peaceful transition of power is allowed to be directly jeopardized by what Obama and his stooges tried to do. Allowing something that horrific to occur with absolutely no repercussions is an infinitely more-dangerous precedent than throwing some teleprompter-addicted idiot into a jail cell, because you're just ensuring that it's going to happen again, and if there's one thing he's been hammering down for awhile now, it's that this can never happen again.

The only way to ensure that is to make certain that everyone involved pays such a steep price that no one will ever consider it again without someone else in the room starting a story that begins with, "Do you remember what happened to the last people who tried this?"
They don't make a :optimistic: big enough for this post. You really think Obama will face any legal trouble from this? How can you be that optimistic?

I would love a world where anyone of import, let alone Obama himself, sees any real consequences from this, but it would be basically unprecedented. But if clown world wants to prove me wrong I'd be OK with it.

I could see Obama flipping on the rest in exchange for a pardon before an actual Obama perp walk arrest type legal thing

I think he's trying to troll, but is so bad at it he comes across as a Barry Simp.
it's been obvious for like 3 years now he grew up in an Obama household where his sanctified status wasn't up for debate, what's outing him as a troll/terminally autistic (moreso the latter imo) is he's been a regular in KF news threads for that entire time and is still spouting off these garbage takes.

Richard Grenell declassified the unmasking list, everyone you suspect who wanted to railroad Flynn is on the list, even Creepy Uncle Joe, and everything right after the election. What complete wreteched fucks.
Most of that didn't happen around the election (Nov 8-10 2016), but around a month later, on the Thursday/Friday leading up to the formal (aka the only part that counts for real) election among electors on Monday 12/19. Did the Russia conspiracy and the intelligence community's attempt to depose the duly elected president really come about after an aborted attempt to use faithless electors to circumvent the election results?
