Id love that arc but honestly Jr, I think, quit college because he needed to come back and stay at home to take care of his fat worthless stroked out boomer dad, because Jack would rather eat cheetoes than try to retain use of his dominant hand/arm. Although that may have been a blessing in disguise since I believe Jack Jr was going to seminary school to be a pastor or something.
