To be fair, my dad got prostate cancer and they gave him hormones early on in treatment. My mom commented on how much more available he was to just talk and cuddle, which is NOT how my father was AT ALL. So maybe not new emotions, just how to act on those emotions in a more positive way? I dunno, just throwing that out there.

You think these people speak other languages? They're the whitest of the white. The closest they've ever gotten to trying to applying this concept in other languages is "Latinx", and even that is roundly mocked by native Spanish speakers.

Yep, changing your hormonal balance will change your emotional state hardcore.

Why do you think the stereotype of women going bonkers once a month exists? Their hormonal load changes hard during their period, and that also affects their mood and emotions. If that's the one thing troons get right about HRT is that their emotions are going to change.

Problem is, they often change for the worse: if you're already emotionally unstable or immature, going into HRT makes you goddamn insufferable. Imagine how annoying a kid becomes going into puberty. Multiply it by five. Now you have a fair idea of how a lot of troons get when they finally get their hands on their beloved titty skittles.

I wonder if this is where the transgender suicide rates come from? If someone is already depressed or emotionally unstable, putting them on something that makes their mood swings worse is hardly an effective treatment. You can live with an imperfect body, but not if your brain is constantly trying to make you destroy yourself.

It may be they start recognizing more colors because they start buying women's clothes and makeup and learn new words for colors. (Another way to get a similar vocabulary boost is to work at a car dealership.)
