I'm not saying Obama will go to prison because I don't think you'll be able to find twelve people to unanimously agree to throw him in prison. You'll never find a jury that won't nullify. But that's the only reason why.

Do you think Sally Yates won't give up the goods to save her ass? Or Eric Holder? Or anyone else knee deep in this? They're gonna reach out to try to break their own falls, and the only person they're gonna be able to grab is Obama. The opposition is more than willing to sacrifice Yates and Holder. But are Yates and Holder?

I think he's beyond legacy at this point, the way he disappeared so quick from public right after Hillary's epic crash and burn tells me he knew at that point his status as a "legacy President" was over. No matter how hard the media shilled, there was nothing that was going to stop Trump from being inagurated, and once that happened he knew his signature domestic policy of Obamacare was going to be undone, and that there were filling cabinets loaded with shady and incriminating stuff with his signature that he had planned to just quietly clean out but now didn't have the keys to get into the building after-hours. He knew all the vacancies in the courts that he'd left open for Hillary to fill with strong and brave POC wahmen who'd put that homophobic cake baker in the slammer and make open borders the law of the land were now going to be filled by Coacaine Mitch and they were NOT going to be the 9th Circuit Approved kind.... He KNEW that was all coming. And he had to get out of the blast radius.

Note how quickly he abandoned being the keynote speaker at seminars and book tours after only a few months and only appeared to crowds at international affairs where he didn't have to risk being surprised by an actual journalist or FOX correspondent and asked any inconvenient questions. Where he still enjoyed the mystique and benefit of having been the only official "American" face to populaces that he never directly pissed off with a "dear colleague" letter or a scolding about how the latest hooligan idolized by BLM "may as well have been my own kid".

Four years after Bill had left office, he was still getting headlines about where he'd build his Presidential Library and what fundraisers he was holding this week.... but Obama really vanished in six months and had to be drug kicking and screaming out of hiding to endorse his own VP for President even after said VP had become the last one standing.

He knew as soon as Queen Hillary failed to ascend that it was all over, no continuity of democratic rule meant no more boxes of ballots for Democrats being found in car trunks at the last second and no more email servers full of called in favors getting "accidentally" deleted just seconds before the DOJ got there with a warrant. He was cut off from his slimy brand of grease that kept everything inside the big Dem machine going, so he couldn't step back into the spotlight, since he no longer had any actual influence. The people in charge, even if they were still loyal to globalist neoliberalism, weren't loyal to HIM anymore, he'd failed to do the only thing he was put in place to do..... provide a seamless transition to the next hand-picked Democrat. Or rather, due to failure of others, his pre-fabricated post-Presidency role as designated cheerleader of Madame President's loyal POC voting bloc who could get perpetual celebrity and vacuum in the cash for the DNC by holding thousand-plate dinners where he reminisced over his 8 years of perfect media enforced sainthood...... was over before it started.

And now, he's realizing that unless he gets Joe in, it's only going to go from merely bad to WORSE because Joe's complicit in the quasi-coup that tried to ramrod impeachment through.

He's known since 2016 he's going to go down as Jimmy Carter at best.... mediocre and only paved the way for a much more effective successor.

Now it's dawning on him he's gonna go down at worst like Warren Harding, shorthand for a charismatic empty suit whose underlings divided up the government into thier own personal fiefdoms and sold them off to the highest bidders while he watched: too weak to stop them or totally fine with it because it was HIS tribe that was winning.

I don't know enough about Yates, but Holder might go down for the count. Obama-senpai used executive privilege to protect his ass from F&F, so Holder owes him. Holder also seems like kool-aid drinker, I think he'd eat it to protect Chocolate jesus and hope the next outgoing Dem president pardons him.

The larger question is if they will ever find themselves in the position to have to fall on their swords, and that's unlikely.

Hilary Clinton openly broke federal data law and lied about it. If anyone who wasn't politically connected enough to be secretary of state did that, their life would have been pretty much over as they'd have roasted alive by every federal branch with security oversight, publicly* as an example to others. But because she's Hilary Clinton, leaking classified data to china and russia is NBD, and who can blame her or her staff for lying about it and then trying to cover up it and the lie.

Obama's IRS head intentionally targeted conservative groups, also tried to destroy data, and WAS caught nearly as red handed as you can hope to get when it takes the FBI fucking years to get off their asses and investigate, but Lerner & her boss escaped any real consequences for her actions and his attempts to obstruct the investigation. (In the unrealistic wet dream where Obama is tried for treason (for the absolutely fucking horrible Iran deal if nothing else) Comey should be in the next court room getting tried for treason + conspiracy.)

Those are just a couple of examples from Obama's "scandal free" presidency where there was tons of evidence that made it to the public. The cases so far against Holder and Yates are pretty fucking weak, I doubt they get hit with much worse. Holder is already out of public life and back working for the private lawfirm of one of the banks that Obama gave free bailout money, so he has very little to fear.



*by that I mean making sure anyone drawing a federal paycheck knows, not the average normies.
 
That was the most hilarious thing about Obama. Scandal free? Anyone remember the US citizens killed without a trial, or Libya, more African nations destabilized, Iran payments and letting them get away with whatever? Obama was a weakman with a good teleprompter that looked presentable. Trump is an asshole and sometimes an idiot, but at least he does what he thinks is best for the citizen. The most telling thing was when Trump bombed an empty Syrian airfield and got praise from every news network; they were just itching for another war.

This is a de facto statement that people cannot control their own community. Outsiders can come in and tell them what to do and the law is on the outsider's side. The only control is in fact who owns the property and therefore who controls what people can come into the community. Democracy has been a check on the landed classes for some time but they've finally found a way around it.

With Flynn's case out of the way and with the fact that it was thrown out of court, that means that the entire thing was predicated on a lie.

Now, there's a lot of questions left sitting out in the open.

They had all of this information already. This isn't new information. These documents prove it, and these documents are precisely what got Flynn's case thrown out into the streets. The Mueller investigation had access to all of these documents the entire time. If they knew that he was innocent (Thus making them privy to the fact that this entire case was built on a false pretense), what exactly were they investigating and why did they never make any of this public? If anything, that investigation was actively working to cover this up and when Mueller testified at the end of his investigation, he pulled every string he could find to try and continue to make it seem like Trump and Flynn were guilty.

Why did they never pump the brakes when they learned that all of this was fake?

They will never send Obama to prison, but everyone else is in the table. Even if Trump wanted to, the process would still be going when he left office. It would also likely destroy his support among moderates, as Americans don't like the idea of the next leader prosecuting the last one.

Think about all of the things that Obama's sat through in either complete or relative silence. He barely made a peep throughout the entirety of the Mueller investigation, he didn't have a thing to say about Mitch McConnell piling in so many judges that he was given a Throne of Skulls, he didn't give much of a damn about the Kavanaugh hearings or have anything to say about the dust-up we had with North Korea or the slap-fight we keep trading with Iran, he's said about Jack and Shit when it comes to China and the Trade War, and he didn't make a sound when Soleimani or that Austere Religious Scholar were turned into dog meat, but when Flynn's case gets thrown into the dumpster that's when he gets off of his ass to, "Do everything in [his] power to get Joe Biden elected?"

Doesn't anyone find it interesting that this specific thing is what lit a fire under his ass? We have all of these world-shaping events and appointments to positions that will change the trajectory of this country for an entire generation, and some of these events had the potential to start wars and he didn't give a damn, but one seemingly-innocuous legal battle involving a single General being charged for lying to the FBI is what sends him into enough of a panic to jump into campaign mode for the dude that he wouldn't even endorse a few months ago?

Don't you think it's possible that there might be more to this than they're trying to let on?
