Both Dick and PPP play characters to a certain degree. It is amusing that this means either one is incapable of also being asshurt and coping, depending on who you ask. At the end of the night PPP was a hell of a lot more funny/entertaining, I thought that was the point of this IBS thing in the first place.

That would be like getting mad at an actor just because they act differently when they act. That's not what's happening here. This is more like the case of Kevin Spacey leaning back into the act of his House of Cards sociopath character after being put into the serious situation of criminal investigation, and everybody being forced to wonder which parts of his acted persona were a reflection of his real self all along.
