A major disconnect thrown into stark relief by Corona-chan that I haven't really seen talked about much is the gulf between people who exercise regularly and people who don't.

A personal lolcow of mine who moved to a different state last year has been sperging out on twitter threatening to call the cops on her apartment complex for reopening its fitness center. This is especially hilarious because up until like 3 minutes ago she was all "ACAB! Abolish all prisons!" But apparently that's been overridden by her HAES indoctrination to the point where we need a police presence to keep Kevin in 312B from using the communal bowflex despite their state having less than 200 wuflu deaths.

Meanwhile, not to powerlevel too much, but I work in the fitness industry and I can count the number of my coworkers who weren't at the beach yesterday on my fist.

I just caught wind from a loved one that apparently Macron is now pushing for the schools to reopen NOW. But also says he doesn't think the country is ready to reopen beaches and natural parks until at least the end of summer.

Why.

It's fun to play "Spot the Karen" while going on daily walks for health. Some will swerve to the traffic lane just to avoid maskless folk like me.
Stores are also beginning to ignore their "masks required" rules.

Found this on a website. Not sure if this actually works, but if it does, it's a "Don't mask me or I'll sic the Feds on you" card (Burgerland only)
View attachment 1272117
lol no ... that doesn't work. The correct response by an employee or manager who is given one of these cards after instructing a person to wear a mask or leave is "wear a mask here, or leave now and file your complaint." This has all the legal efficacy of those exceptional "I have autism, please don't punish me for being an asshole" cards.

You know what happens when you're actually exempt from normal rules & regulations for medical reasons? Your doctor puts it in writing and has it printed on a little card you can carry with you. This is how people with embedded (ferrous) metals in their bodies (pins, screws, rods, etc.) can bypass metal detectors to enter courtrooms, secured airport areas, etc. since they'll always set them off even if stripped completely naked.

The card doesn't spend half its space threatening legal action and refusing to explain anything. It "wastes" all its available space by clearly stating the nature of the condition and the exemptions that apply because of it.

Bring many Chinooks.
I've had one of those making regular trips over my house for the last month. Last time I saw it before that was more than a year ago.

Goddamnit, by 2050 us Americans are gonna have to come bail the Britbongs out again, aren't we?
I expect this app will demonstrate the same competence, cost efficiency, transparency, and timeliness as every other ukgov IT project.

It's also not mandatory. Yet.

Sounds like someone from the schools is sick of their crotchspawn.

Eta; holy fucking shit. Spergout time.
I've mentioned that I used to work in a food processing plant here in Canuckistan. What I may have not said is that I've been off from that job since March with an unknown chronic viral bronchitus infection that has not gotten better. No covid or common cold/flu, sputum and antibody tests came back clear yestersay.

I phoned my HR rep at work yesterday asking when it would be a good time to come back. She literally said she would phone me back when she was at home. This piqued my interest, I mean, what could she tell me when she wasn't at work?

That our food plant is on a jobshare program now due to our orders for our product (which is a snack food, nothing essential) plummeting. I was told to stay on Tru-Dough, because it's uncertain if we will have any orders in two weeks tine. I told them back in March that we would not be considered essential, even though we make food. Noone will buy our 500 gram snack product at $14.99 when pork (which most of our product is made from) is selling for about $4.99/500grams.

Seems that even though management had a huge rah rah rally before I took my time off to try and recover, that everything that they told us was a big fat lie. It isn't a huge company but it isn't a small one either. 90ish people directly working for the company, and nearly every one of them is helping support their family.
The worst part about this is that we are one of the few large employers here other than sawmills.

Holy shit the sawmills, though. They are a whole other sperg out. Tl;dc: they shut down the sawmills last fall in an attempt to bust the workers unions. That left thousands unemployed through the winter. Guess when they started to try and reopen operations? March. So now they are probably just as fucked as us.

@EmuWarsVeteran, I hope you get your economy roaring back to life as of two weeks ago, and the rest of the west follows. We literally HAVE TO restart western production or China will have us all bent over a barrel, selling us our bug protein and collecting our pod rent.

At the very least here in spain the second wave was always talked about. And I remember the britbong kiwis posting a graph of the spike you'd expect after lockdown.
Yeah, I know. But back then it was spoken as expected disease responses to adjustments that would need to be made as this progresses. Not the "the second wave will kill everyone you love" bullshit we see now. There are very powerful people pushing this "science" who want to keep the public very scared. Making up stories about the boogeyman so they can take credit for killing it which, conveniently, nobody can conclusively prove.
Despite making up 13% of the population.....

Maybe it's because they have higher cases of heart disease, diabetes, and obesity which are known risk factors. Maybe if some faggots in Vermont weren't selling these fatties ice cream they wouldn't have this problem.

Im suprised we haven't seen more 13%/41% memes yet.

Next time. :)

This time I just threw my arms up and shook my head because I was so shocked at what was happening. It's one thing to get glares like at in public spaces/stores (which is bad enough) ... But on my own property, minding my business? Jeez!

I had neighbors treating me like this a few weeks ago, but now most people seem pretty chill about the whole thing around here.

It's interesting because just from what I've observed online, some of the most hardcore "stay at home, don't even step outside!" people are from places where there aren't very many cases, maybe it's fear of the unknown and what they think it will be like.

Around here it was almost like people were more scared about it before it got really bad . Now that we're at the peak, I think people have realized that going for a bike ride around the block does not equal instant death.

I wouldn't say people think it's nothing, but it's also not exactly the horror show a lot of people were expecting with people collapsing in the streets and anarchy reigning, so it's a lot less tense than it was a month ago. Now most of the concern is where it should be, which is on the elderly and vulnerable.

Ok so I got a question. If this coof has been around since last year, and even killing people in France since December, why did it take so long for Italy to go to shit?

A super mild strain may have spread first, back in November, and Chinks are stupid enough to guzzle antibiotics and antivirals when they get a minor cold, so something that actually kills people gets overlooked until it hits lethal symtombs. Once it mutated enough to get lethal, Chink foreign workers brought it world wide during CNY, because its rayciss to not want the sick man of asia coughing on you, and the CCP didnt want to be the only one holding the bag at the end of it. This way, they can try and pretend that it was a minor strain in China until the Ebul Americuns released a lethal strain in China, and that the Ebul Americuns are the real ones to blame for the WuFlu, not the incompitence of the shithole known as Communist China.

Also, Italy was the first to not go full rètard coverup. They didnt have time to see how a lockdown could help the healthcare system. They got blindsided because the CCP is the sick man of asia and the CCP didnt want to be the only economy fucked. Otherwise China would have locked down in early December when Dr. Li found the "SARS-like symtombs" in patients and raised the alarm, and we probably would ACTUALLY be praising the CCP for preventing a global pandemic.

Finally it is official. Cadiz got more infected doctors than people. This is the price of the PPE fuckup. Though I have another theory I will expose after this comment:

Ok so I got a question. If this coof has been around since last year, and even killing people in France since December, why did it take so long for Italy to go to shit?

It's because you are confusing a small strain with an outbreak. France first got infected by their chinese research partners. Which is a very small group of scientists, who as such tend to have a general respect for viri and know when to isolate. It spread a bit but not too much at first. But then after Italy plummets you actually see a large outbreak in france and there I'd say france was the quickest territory to plummet. Reaching the 1400 deaths a day group multiple days in a row in record fucking time and having massive socioeconomic impact such as the prison riots.

Italy got the outbreak straight off the bat. Because instead of first getting that strain. It got all of a sudden right after chinese new year a massive influx of chinese workers straight into its densely populated areas carrying the viry.

To put it into perspective look at spain. First to infect (officially) was the islands. Which got it from german tourists. And yet it was perfectly contained and they had no issues. Then spain got an outbreak, again of the same strain, of massive proportions.

My theory is cadiz is to blame for the second outbreak. Though others blame Italy. Here's the thing. I know multiple people who work in austria and germany. And they came home from carnaval. And carnaval is flu paradise basically. So its likely they infected the city from that point. This would explain why so little people got infected of wuflu officially because we're still not doing fast tests to the population to test for immunity on this province. And it would explain why the flu season was worse than normal. Plus doctors are peotected during flu season to avoid overloading healthcare so that'd explain why they are the only group without immunity.

But thing is. After carnaval, as I warned here. The Gaditanos went back to their jobs all over spain and europe. And in madrid after carnaval they do a celebration where the best groups chosen each year go do their act in a theater. And the groups, politicians, and fans go there. As for Barcelona, they are a massive work spot, a lot of andalusians go there for jobs. So our 2 dense population centers got a massive influx of carriers all at once. And the result? Not even 2 weeks afterwards spain's curve had gone off the fucking rockers and lockdown was necessary.

I'd say that should explain what's going on. A very small amount of hygienic people getting the flu is just a small strain no one cares about. High density areas getting hit by a wave of carriers is another thing entirely. That's not to say small strains can't get out of control. They can. But they do it far more slowly at first. You have time to react. France didn't react and that's why once everything went to hell it really went to hell. Germany did react and I still wanna check their flu numbers but it seems they handled most of it great. But what spain and italy got is not a small strain. That's why it went to hell.

Some new studies out of France : The virus was there last year.

Out of Arizona State : The virus is already weakening.

Both things SOME virologists/doctors thought at the start of this, who were then disgracefully shunned, because some autists had a panic model.

Every Virologist/Epidemiologist/Infectious Disease "expert" who bleats "but a second wave" or "well be dealing with this forever", needs to be remembered and shamed into hiding after this.

Anecdotally : a good friend who's a doctor at a usually bustling Tokyo Hospital, is pissed because the western media said 2 weeks ago the Japanese Hospital system was close to collapse. She's been waiting and waiting. They've tested some people, only seen about 5-6 patients who needed hospitalisation from this. Her hospital is not a small one.
She's been sending me cat memes non-stop. That's how "busy" she is.

Alright fuckos. I just got fresh memes. Andalucia has stated that indeed if alarm state isn't approved by 10 march they will declare it on their community. Meaning the Junda De Andalucia's Consejeria de Salud (basically regional healthcare governing body) would have "mando unico", meaning "sole command".

As you know this is the same governing body that caused the PPE drain, took away all our ventilators. Has fed us expired, broken and simply defective masks in over 5 separate incidents now, and has caused the residence outbreak in most provinces. (Except cadiz which rebelled early and took care of that af the first sign of trouble.)

So as you can imagine... Most are memeing it the fuck up. All of the memes are just the voiceclip saying "if the state of alarm doesn't renew the 10th of march the consejeria de salud de la junta de andalucia would take sole command" and then panicked noises. But this one is my favourite:

Translation: starts with the transcript of the clip. Then shows us the chief of said consejeria failing miserably at talking to journos (first they have to remind him that he needs to stay put in front of the mic. If he wants to be heard anyway. After he kept walking off like Biden. Then he gets into fights with the projector. Which to be fair the projectors over here are garbage. I've seen professors refer to them as "piñatas", but come on dude just keep talking at move on. I mean at least it's funny, but he sure ain't the most competent man.

As for the last meme. It's a doctor asking for a "shield", then the PP drawing a "shield" (emblem), it's a reference to the PPE shortage. Since indeed healthcare personnel used the term "shield" to refer to it. And the new emblem. Because yes. Jusy yesterday. For no reason. The PP decided to change the shield of Andalucia. They added the crown and laurels. Which means we're now gonna waste a ton of money on changing that shit on official engravings and shit like that. You might wonder why they would do it. Well quite simply, the PP is super salty about the memes about our monarchy being shit I talked about on a prior post. So they're now trying to add crowns to all official spanish icons. Yes, they are that petty. And yes, the rest of spain finds it endlessly amusing. I mean really only time spain's shield didn't have a crown was the 2nd spanish republic. Even during the 1st it still had it. So it's not like we really care about the icon having a crown even when we don't have a king. This is just overcompensating for no reason. Jokes about using crowns to hide their dick size are also being deployed en masse. I love them.

Also. A pdf with all the info from all the covid patients in puerta del mar just accidentally leaked. And I got my hands in it. And I think I will post it either tonight or tomorrow. Because it is a good showcase of what the symptoms are but I can't leak it yet because it has personal patient numbers, and even cell phone numbers, and I don't wanna dox a buncha randies like that. Btw having those numbers on internal documents like that is actually illegal under data protection law so yeah directive's actually likely to get in a lot of trouble not for leaking to the workers but because of how the document is drafted. Fucking kek they really are incompetent.

Because they will hang him if he doesnt fix it soon.

We literally HAVE TO restart western production or China will have us all bent over a barrel, selling us our bug protein and collecting our pod rent.

Or just stop buying chinese plastic shit and buy east asian plastic shit instead. this hit china alot harder than any of us can imagine.

Germany did react and I still wanna check their flu numbers but it seems they handled most of it great. But what spain and italy got is not a small strain. That's why it went to hell.
Active cases below 25k critical cases below 2k. mortality rate 5% with a heavy focus on elderly.

I'm a pretty big runner, so I'm using all of this time on funployment to work on my Coronavirus tan and got in 60 miles ran for March and 65 for last month. Combined with kettlebell crap and a home pull up bar I've actually lost weight and improved my conditioning from before getting laid off. It'll be great to go back out socially when everyone else is going to be pasty white and fat. Also I love living in a city with so many other likeminded fit men and women doing the same as me.

You wouldn't believe how triggering hearing about quarantine running is to other people in my experience, especially some of my family members. I'm bombarded with bullshit horror stories such as athletes getting their lungs all shredded from the Wu Flu. Also that article the other day complaining about male runners manspreading on the sidewalk was quite the hoot too. To quote another Kiwi Farmer from the articles forum but they want you to never go outside of your pod, drinking soy and doing your yoga and pilates for exercise.

Also to play conspiracy theory for a bit isn't it a bit convenient this new stories slipped about Asian Giant Hornets just as more people are starting to question the China Flu narrative in the United States? The same shut-in freaks who were freaking out about Corona are now pivoting their NEVER GO OUTSIDE bullshit to that.
