A Shure SM57 is 100 dollars on a bad day. A halfway decent a2d solution would run you maybe 80 dollars. USB and XLR cables can be gotten for beer can refunds. Acoustic foam is ungodly cheap on Amazon. Audacity is free. Email exists. Pop filters can be made with household items.

No excuse for being a literal chimp that is too stupid to figure out how to do your job.

Considering we're professional VA'ing here & I know it sounds ironic considering we're talking about Funi, but that's what they call themselves. A Studiobricks would be nice to have too. Even the cheapest model is 3.5k with the highest one being 5k. For people who brag about earning a lot, drive things like Beemers (Munchie) & Teslas (Sabat) & just throw money at grifting lawyers & orangutans (Ron recently donating around 4-500$ on Low T & Armz's GFMs), they should at least get that, it's better than staying in the closet or whatever the fuck Monica made. Even Kara did it & multiple LA VAs have these.

Vic has passion and takes pride in what he does... Unlike those other VAs that do voice work all for the sake of being fawned over and sucker people into giving them money just because they voiced someone's waifu or husbando. Wish more VAs gave a shit about what they do, but alas... It becomes more apparent that they do not. They aren't even capable if providing a decent setup for themselves at home. Makes them look very incompetent.

Is there anyone as dedicated to the VA craft as Vic? I mean, Vic’s great, but I’m just wondering if anyone is as good as he is...except they don’t do cosplays and fan series or are just keeping things like this tweet out of the public eye.

I'd make the claim most VAs do a decent enough job. Vic though is kind of ahead of his time. Most of his contemporaries don't have the dorky enthusiasm for geeky stuff like he does. More of the newer VAs are fans of anime and they're happy if they get to voice their dream character.
