Or, not even. Since I don't think you'll see nearly as big a cooperative effort put towards scrubbing this from the Internet. Some spineless admins will take shit down, and YTers will be given some grief for awhile, but I doubt anybody will face any legal consequences. Other than maybe the leakers. I think he may be overstating the prevalence of the trope in video games.

Bioshock Infinite did it... kinda. But I thought it was pretty thoughtfully done, to be quite honest.

The "Christian wacko cult" isn't even a strictly leftist thing. It's been an element in the MegaTen series since its inception. The Japanese have had some really... intriguing... views of Christianity and it's iconography.

The western side of things seems to revolve around ramming certain views on race, gender, and sexuality down our throats. You can thank Anita and company for that.

Well whoever is the leaker over at Naughty Dog or Sony is a hero. They just saved gamers 60 dollars to not buy this bullshit video game.

Honestly the first video game wasn't even bad by the way, it was a good stand alone game in it's own right but they now pulled a 'Terminator: Dark Fate' and that's by killing off the characters that many people are fond of and wanted to give some tranny that no one wants the spotlight and everyone hates this shitty game now.

Now who wants to go golfing? Anyone?

Well Sony has done a lot of very poor and shortsighted decisions in recent times. For starters, they decided to censor anime games that have fanservice and other lewd themes and a lot of Japanese video game developers got frustrated because they now have to obey Sony's new bullshit "global standards" in which if they want their video game to be on a Sony console and meanwhile on the Switch many of those same anime games are ported with many of the mature themes in those games to be intact.

It's truly an irony when Nintendo is more of a chad these days while Sony consuming too much soy milk. Oh well.

Honestly, they will probably do fine. Moving up the release date was probably to remove the "ps5 launch game!" and launch with something better, hopefully.

I actually liked Dark fate :/. The question "why not just send back more robots" was exactly what they did. It was simple but how it would probably happen.

Naughty Dog is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony. A "first party" game developer.

It's unlikely they would go bankrupt. If they become unprofitable, or a liability, Sony will just shut them down. They could also snap their fingers and fire whatever asswipe over there is making these idiotic decisions. Sony has almost unlimited room to maneuver when it comes to Naughty Dog.

Funimation is almost the same, but Sony is only a supermajority owner of that (95% of the stock, I believe).

The first game was fucking incredible. That's why a lot of people are losing their shit over this. It was exceptionally well written and acted. It was a game where, I think, a lot of people got what they wanted, without stepping on each others toes.

It, most notably, had a "strong female character" that was actually believable. Not exaggerated so as to achieve a false sense of absolute gender equality. In the parts where you play as Ellie, she doesn't exceed the physical limitations of what one expects from a 14 year old girl. If she kills a grown ass man, it wouldn't be in the same manner as a ninja or a Navy SEAL.

What I don't get is how any of this could possibly reflect well on the transgender community. No joke, I'm trying to think like a troon here.

Going by the specs for the ps5, it's the midlife console upgrade that the ps4pro should have been, not a big enough upgrade to warrant a new console. Granted, people are exceptional in ways that would still surprise me to this day, but I don't see a lot of people having a bucket of spending money to shell out after the pandemic for the newest console that likely won't have a stellar launch lineup, and that's before the string of sony pr blunders that have been happening for a year or so. They're really not doing that well in japan relative to how they used to with the anime games censorship going on, and committing dmca abuse against the entire internet to try and cover for the botched launch of the final big ps4 release isn't helping them over here.

Actually, it does, which is why YouTube and Google break to it. You do have to have a contact address and when you reply you have to supply your address for servicing. Otherwise they can complain up the chain of command (i.e. to your hosts, network) and cause problems. The first US entity to ignore the complaint becomes liable for it. I've had some people go right to the top and it's fucking irritating having to explain to boomers running ISPs that you've already received and responded the DMCA and they're just being faggots.
 
It never ceases to warm my heart when dear leader tells a giant corporation to get bent. I seriously have never given a shit about this game (or Playstation games/ Sony products in general) But now I find myself with an insatiable thirst to spread around memes and critique this giant open sewage pit that is "The Last of Us 2".

Also Europe will never fail to bring a laugh whenever they do anything. What a great start to my month
