Some people have, but it isn't particularly interesting/enlightening. Every so often, you'll see snippets of the conversations posted on here. The general summary is they don't really care or think it is their business what he spends his money on. Some of the more delusional ones think there isn't actually any evidence Phil does what they do. A few will actually acknowledge Phil is bad with money/admit his content isn't great, but insist they stick around for the community or just feel the need to keep supporting Phil out of habit.
There's a few reasons people donate to Phil. The most popular theory and the one I personally think describes most of his supporters is the power trip. They have Phil's us. vs. them mentality, but they also project themselves onto Phil. They get to pretend by helping Phil spite his detractors, they're also sticking it to the bullies in their life. Others just like getting to have the tables turned and becoming bullies in their own right by donating enough to become mods. There's a couple who, strangely enough, actually seem to enjoy Phil's content and believe he is worth supporting. I think these ones are pretty few and far between these days.
There is also a few examples of previous fans seeing the light when presented with evidence (though usually only after Phil makes fun of them or is otherwise dismissive to them) but I can't recall any who broke out of the gout cult recently.
Other than that, I think his only other "fans" are the types of trolls who at first donated "ironically" or for the lulz or some other dumb excuse, but have kept doing it for so long they've actually come to appreciate Phil in some capacity.
