I take it the United States doesn't do any job screenings for mental health care?

I suspect they can't really afford to do any kind of screening. Mental health care can be a thankless and dangerous job, especially for the "frontline" personnel. Same deal with "public school teacher in the 'hood".I take it the United States doesn't do any job screenings for mental health care?

I did when I looked after literal mentally disabled people back when I was younger. I did quit however after I learned you don't get shit if you're injured on the job when it comes to workers compensation (and you will get injured on the job, it's not a matter of "if"). Though back then it was background checks and to see if I had any qualifying certificates. You think anyone is willing to work for absolute shit wages in order to go get attacked by violent, raging tards on a daily basis for 60-70 hours a week and can PASS a mental health screening and/or background check?
These standards inevitably deteriorate with time. It's not a lucrative position offering high wages and other benefits, where the HR department could dismiss 95% of the applicants and screen the remaining cream of the crop. They're not in that position at all.I did when I looked after literal mentally disabled people back when I was younger. That would explain why I see mentally disabled people being shepherd around by foreigners with no clue what they're doing because family don't want to pay the money for someone qualified to do the work. Fewer and fewer group homes exist and it became a babysitting job. I hate to see how mental hospitals are. We do have someone here that allows the patients to walk around outside freely until around 9pm, but those people aren't that far gone. By that I mean not a danger to anyone. These standards inevitably deteriorate with time. Maybe this is how they'll solve the problem with too many disabled people in the world, have the lesser disabled people take care of them and the issue will solve itself..Richard "Terra" Jones, an obese, non-passing, pink-haired troon with a thread in the Rat Kings subforum, got hired as a wrangler in some sort of group home. That was in Chicago, where you would expect there to be a much better pool of potential applicants, but they hired Richard anyway. That incident, and this clown, illustrate how selective these places can afford to be.
(Richard, fwiw, ragequit because the job was too hard, and because his black female supervisor wasn't having it when he threatened to have an "autistic meltdown" if he didn't get his way. )
My impression was that Chris and Emery both worked in an assisted living facility primarily for seniors with dementia, per what the two have them have shared on Jude Valentin's discord. I figured Chris was a CNA while Emery was an activities assistant.
Is he just using whom in place of who every time now? I don't understand it's use but I didn't think it could just be used in place of who every time.
Yes, the group home Chris works for treats severely physically disabled people and seniors, they don't treat people with aggression issues, etc, the people in that home are mostly or close to bed-bound. Chris is absolutely not a CNA though, the home lists all their nurses and nurse assistants. He's also not in any of the staff photos, of which there are many, and that includes the nurses but also people like the kitchen staff. PL I guess? But I have a fair bit of experience with group homes through a job, and I am fairly certain he's a janitor supplied by a staffing agency. That business card he's carrying around to let the police know he's essential wouldn't be necessary for the nurses, they would supply their work badge.
I always had trouble with this, but if you think of it like whom goes with him, ex if you asked who works there? He works there. Not him works there. So you wouldn't use whom you would use who.

What's it take to get one of those?I remembered we can just look this sort of thing up:

He's running on an expired license, per the Minnesota registry.
I thought he was a nuclear engineer and in the military. What's it take to get one of those?
He probably wasn't really using it though... he never progressed beyond cleaning shit off the walls. If I had to guess, his mom probably pressured him to get it so he'd have opportunities to move forward.

Turns out he was premature. But that okay because he’s still one of the best swimmers in the entire world despite having a fucked up shoulder (and looking like a fat pile of shit).
According to this website:
The second class swim test consists of a deep water jump, 100-yard swim demonstrating 25 yards each of the crawl stroke, breaststroke, sidestroke, and elementary backstroke. Immediately after the completion of the swim, without leaving the water, students will prone float (face down) for 5 minutes and transition to a back float before exiting the water.
So nothing special, 2 or 4 lengths depending on the pool and a nice relaxing float for 5 minutes.
