:optimistic: It's not even about desperation with these guys, more about sexual braggadocio. They are "cool" in their minds because they are willing to go where other men are too scared to tread, or this is how they rationalize and justify their otherwise very obviously homosexual trannie chasing to themselves. It's like a Jackass thing for them, like a dare to themselves: "Can I make myself do this sex thing (ie, fuck a trannie) that disgusts all these other men? If yes, then this means I am actually gay/bisexual I am more manly than those other guys because I had the guts to do the scary/icky sex thing."

AC and the like (Harvest Moon, Rune Factory etc) are fairly female dominated games. A few years ago when it was originally on GameCube I would be hard pressed to find hard core players who were men. They exist, of course, but AC slots into a high female player demographic (like the Sims and VNs) so I view it as colonization of a cute game to A) make themselves seem more like OwO quirky animoo girlz and B) co-opt and scream about how certain animals are totes gay despite y'know...them being animals.

It's just any extreme online subculture. Say incels, trannies and the more crazy TERFS.

They all have their target demographics - young men failing in relationships/young people with depression or body image issues/women that have shitty experiences with men or troons. They create an extremely welcoming environment for said respectable demographics, while convincing them that their ideology is the only correct one and will fix all their problems and that they identified the enemy. They all have FACTS and DATA for their BS - blackpill "science"/medical research into "female brains" and "yeah if you take HRT for 2 years you don't have any advantage over women in sports"/for TERFs see shit like r/itsafetish or r/thisneverhappens, or the now dead neovagina disasters. Anyway, in the end all of these are just traps for people with fucked up social life, who need someone to validate them and someone to blame.

I think troons stand out damage-wise because modifying your body is permanent, trooning out probably causes even more social isolation, and if you wanna fit it you have to become a commie, which will leave you even more miserable and depressed.

The narrator of the article, Wes Hurley, is an indie film director, and the story was published to promote his movie about-- what else-- how fucking wonderful his shitty abusive father suddenly was because he decided he was a woman.

Mind you, it's established several times that tranny dad was hyper-conservative, and Wes literally feared every day that if he came out to his dad, he and his mom (who was a mail order bride!!!) would be sent back to Russia. So the fact that his father literally bought his mom like a piece of property and treated him like shit is a-okay now, because "it was just internalize hatred from being a closeted tranny uwu."

Trannies are not liberal, or feminists, or any of that shit. They only decide to "become" liberal for their own benefit after trooning out because liberals are the ones that enable their crap. Before that, most of them are conservative or apolitical. People act like Bruce Jenner is an outlier as a conservative tranny, but he is absolutely not. In fact, I actually kind of appreciate that Jenner isn't pretending to be liberal like most of his ilk does. There is absolutely a reason why most trannies are from the South: they're either self-hating gay people who think being gay means that they have a "woman's brain," or they're people who have a fetish for extremely rigid gender stereotypes. Both of those things require that they subscribe to traditionally conservative ideas on gender. Scratch that-- I've actually met conservatives with less rigid ideas of gender! I don't want to throw conservatives under the bus, because troons might actually be more homophobic and misogynistic than any other political group. I wonder if liberals know that they're literally jerking off people are a secretly the exact kind of bigots they purport to be against.

The problem with TERFs, the reason some are crazy, isn’t the TE part, it‘s the RF part. Their troon deviance documentation subreddits are not evidence of their insane recruiting of the vulnerable, it’s everything else. What I bolded is you identifying their great positive contributions to the world as their wrongdoing and that is incorrect.

But I completely agree that the reason each of these communities are bafflingly successful to the non-vulnerable is that the non-vulnerable are missing whatever obsessive-compulsive anxiety-driven mental situation that makes you vulnerable. I have most noticed this with the incels and troons, where it seems like you see a lot of “daily reminder of x” or “imagine y” or “if you think this then z” or “I used to x lol I was an egg” or other language choices that might seem innocuous to the non-vulnerable, but to these OCD anxious loons it’s like the pattern of a magic spell. Somehow who is into NLP could probably offer insight.

Also 100% of them are porn addicts. So it’s kind of the same thing. Why can the rest of us watch miles of porn and be completely unaffected past its utilitarian use, but a troomer falls into Bambi Sleep or other forced fem shit? Have you ever actually watched forced fem? This is probably better for conspiracy theories I believe in, and I am not a white male so I am not the target here, but does it not seem like an awful lot of forces have combined to create internet-delivered media specifically designed to derange white males in the West? Why white males and not other demos? I mean, I do think there are forces deranging many demos, but ultimately that’s irrelevant. Because you can derange any other western demo and society will continue to crank along, but - and honestly not to get all Ayn Rand about it because this is not a dorm hallway in 1997 - you ruin enough white males, particularly young ones, and you’ve destroyed our societies. They’re the dominant cultural demo and they drive culture forward. So of course if you have the long view of societal destruction, they’re the prize.
