He was already diagnosed with adjustment disorder when he was in the air force, according to the documents he posted back in the day, so idk why he's like "omg I got a diagnosis guise!"

That and adjustment disorder is usually temporary, most info I can find says it doesn't last longer than 6 months on average.

Lol, his therapist is full of shit. He's almost certainly an NPD case and his depressive symptoms are coming from the fact that it's the internet and he can't do much about people shit talking him.

Edit:
She even suspected the most common disorder that it's confused with which is bipolar disorder.

Therapists can't "diagnose" anything. Only a psychiatrist can render an official diagnosis and definitely not after just one visit.

The ODD diagnosis is usually used for kids, but it's used for adults too - usually as a label for insurance purposes so that more in depth evals can be completed.

ODD and NPD are very often concurrent in adults. ODD is an easier more straightforward diagnosis to slap on an insufferable twat. I would be surprised if his therapist won't refer him to a doctorate level psych for a thorough diagnosis.

Edit: she needs to give him a pre-lim diagnosis and get him to a psych for some klonapin or Xanax to chill his fucking ass out for a hot minute to give those kids a break

lol a licensed psychologist can make a diagnosis, they just can't prescribe medication. If it's a disorder that requires medication to treat, they normally refer them to a psychiatrist, and the psychiatrist normally just does a very brief interview with the patient to confirm the diagnosis. You may be thinking about social workers, which are """""therapists""""". Most states allow social workers to practice with just a BA, but to be a licensed psychologist you need a master's degree, and if you want to practice on your own, or open your own practice you need a PhD.

I have never viewed a psych eval that didn't have a psychiatrist review and sign off on it. That being said, every practice does things differently. I believe you when you say licensed psychologists can diagnose on their own... I just don't know any comfortable doing that.

But yeah therapists can't diagnose shit, they can only speculate and refer for real evaluations. If he's diagnosed with NPD I bet he will never disclose that because narcs almost never do.
 
This is a bit of a reach but the timing of both the news about the law firm and this supposed diagnosis is interesting. What if he is still trying to get more ways to plead insanity?

at this point, i feel like no one would believe him since there's videos and tweets of him acting sane and i heard that the insanity plea doesn't really work as much tbh.
