I have never used tablet discord. Is the emoji/edit etc thing shown on tablet and desktop?
See that there is nothing in that box under his name? No roles. So his name is white. I would assume he leaves the discord when he isn't talking to people and joins when he needs to tell them something specific. I HIGHLY doubt Phil hangs out with his mods, he doesn't have any friends.

That's actually a really good observation. That would explain why he doesn't have the permanent role. He leaves and joins whenever he feels like it. :stress:

Sorry if I'm late & gay, I'm still a few pages back from caught up w this thread, but I keep seeing these questions pop up & I'm around that platform enough/long enough that I can probably somewhat help put these to bed:

profiles will have a green cellphone icon where you usually see the green/grey dot for online/offline if it's from mobile.
  • That little green phone icon next to usernames to indicate the person is on mobile has not existed for very long; I want to say 3-5 months maybe? I started seeing it after an update around the latter part of last year.
I think you can change how your name appears on a particular server.
  • On basic Discord accounts, a user can only alter their in-server screen name (like window dressing; a person can still see your OG handle & # if they click on you) if certain permissions are enabled by the admin. In other words, it's not a given that you can re-tool your name to anything except the original one, across any & all servers you're in. (Case in point: I think Null has the option disabled in the MOTI server, so your original handle is how you show up in there & you can't do anything about it. But over in the KF Movie Night server you can change yourself to show up as w/e tf you want.)

Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm too boomer to realize I'm wrong about this, but I'm pretty sure I'm not.

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't this also the case with the modchat on Twitch? All of our leakers there indicated that Phil didn't actually talk to them that much, only when there was something really important. He probably uses the discord in the same way, letting them talk, and then coming in to issue important edicts. He wouldn't need a role or anything - his authority is implicit among that group, and he doesn't need permissions to run the discord if he leaves that in the hand of a mod that he trusts, probably the one that set it up in the first place. I doubt he took that initiative when modchat was going away, it was probably Popsicolo.

Is there a breakdown of the escort saga? Thanks
Sorry, I don't actually know of one that covers the whole thing. A lot of the usual video creators didn't touch it at the time, and I don't think anyone summarized the major points in print.

EDIT: If you want to check it out, Null's post covers a lot of the details.

I think it's important to remember one thing:

Even with all the evidence in the world, Phil's genuine fans who give him money do not care. They'll still give him money. They do not care what Phil does with their money. They don't mind his lies.

Nancy, on the other hand...

Phil could set up a 1000$ tip goal to drown the cat live on stream that the next day he could tell them the cat is fine and still get tard cum from those mentally ill shit stains, and twitch would not give a shit.

But the names are different
The displayed names were, but the underlying account was identical--TheyCallMeDSP#4058.

Anyway, I don't know that this will quell the doubt, but here's another screenshot that was passed on to me a short while ago (same source):

My personal opinion is that it's legit, showing all the hallmark DSP writing tendencies and general delusional thinking, especially about "allowing" MidFirst to do the foreclosure. As though they didn't file a motion to compel that.

The last sentence is what seals this message to be phil...its something he would totally say.

He didn't even want to have discord. He definitely did NOT set it up. Wouldn't be surprised if this was the same server that they made back in the day for the forums.

Yeah I'm firmly in the "Phil's got a gambling addiction" camp now.

"They could only foreclose if I gave them permission"
This explains SO much. Phil gets fucked, but he is clearly using his mental gymnastics to make it seem like he is in control. Fuckin A!

He needs to pignosis his mods that he CHOSE to tell MidFirst that they can foreclose. Phil didn't grant permission to allow MidFirst to lift the stay. They contested the stay and he didn't contest it so the judge granted the lift.

Also there's that big brain. $400 now is greater than being forced to sell all your shit later.

This is some amazing Philism. Can you post it in the bankruptcy thread cause wow is that some stuff to talk about.

Ask the source if there are any mentions of the gacha game in the mod chat. Surely he would have mentioned something to his mods about it with all the bans going on. Hell ask him for everything.

It's two screenshots of the same thing in the same server though.

Answering my own question, it probably means that "last Wednesday" he posted with his white TheyCallMeDSP name, then later in the week he changed his name to Darksydephil and had it changed to purple, after which the other screenshot was taken.

I'm wondering why an admin would have only given Phil a purple color since "last Wednesday"? How long has Phil been on his mod discord, and isn't he an admin himself?

Maybe impossible to verify, but... can we confirm that the things he's saying about sidella and stiltskinz are things he might have been saying "last Wednesday?"
As somebody who is admin and mod to discords: you normally just add the role to a user once he or she wrote something and you see they are still ehite without a role (or whatever you set as default). Phil might not be very active in this discord, and it was made most likely by one of his mods who then postet the invitation link in the twitch mod chat. If phil never wrote something until then, it is very unlikely that a mod / discord admin would look into the memberlist and change them. As also already meantioned, he might leave and rejoibs the server. The different colors are in my opinion easy to explain. I am catching up, so sorry if somebody already wrote the same.

I agree. I hate when we just get a single suspect message even if its 100% likely Phil. I'd like to see everything they can hand over even if its irrelevant, because it helps show its Phil.

Also maybe a mod profile or two so someone like Nigel can confirm its them. To verify the mod discord's legit.

Or a picture of the Member list. Everyone will be listed there, even if they aren't online and it won't identify the person taking the screens at all.

It will if that person is using "invisible" mode and marking themselves offline. Discord will display that person's username "lit up" when that person goes to look at the member list of a server. Try it yourself -- go invisible, then go to the member list of a server and find your username in the offline section. You'll be lit up when everyone else is "darkened" out.
