A transgender girl accused of assaulting two students at a Texas high school alleges that she was being bullied and was merely fighting back

Shocking video shows a student identified by police as Travez Perry violently punching, kicking and stomping on a girl in the hallway of Tomball High School.

The female student was transported to the hospital along with a male student, whom Perry allegedly kicked in the face and knocked unconscious.

According to the police report, Perry - who goes by 'Millie' - told officers that the victim has been bullying her and had posted a photo of her on social media with a negative comment.

One Tomball High School parent whose daughter knows Perry said that the 18-year-old had been the target of a death threat.

'From what my daughter has said that the girl that was the bully had posted a picture of Millie saying people like this should die,' the mother, who asked not to be identified by name, told DailyMail.com.

When Perry appeared in court on assault charges, her attorney told a judge that the teen has been undergoing a difficult transition from male to female and that: 'There's more to this story than meets the eye.'

Perry is currently out on bond, according to authorities.

The video of the altercation sparked a widespread debate on social media as some claim Perry was justified in standing up to her alleged bullies and others condemn her use of violence.

The mother who spoke with DailyMail.com has been one of Millie's most ardent defenders on Facebook.

'I do not condone violence at all. But situations like this show that people now a days, not just kids, think they can post what they want. Or say what they want without thinking of who they are hurting,' she said.

'Nobody knows what Millie has gone through, and this could have just been a final straw for her. That is all speculation of course because I don't personally know her or her family, but as a parent and someone who is part of the LGBTQ community this girl needs help and support, not grown men online talking about her private parts and shaming and mocking her.'

One Facebook commenter summed up the views of many, writing: 'This was brutal, and severe! I was bullied for years and never attacked anyone!'

Multiple commenters rejected the gender transition defense and classified the attack as a male senselessly beating a female.

One woman wrote on Facebook: 'This person will get off because they're transitioning. This is an animal. She kicked, and stomped, and beat...not okay. Bullying is not acceptable, but kicking someone in the head. Punishment doesn't fit the crime.'

Peak trans can't come soon enough. This is actually worse than MLM ads I had to read when I was younger.

Honestly, the women who continue to fawn over these reprobates after all the shit they've pulled the past few years deserve everything they get. They have zero self respect when it comes to genderspecials- a TIM could spit on them and they'd apologize for oppressing him with their cis privilege and ask for more. It's repulsive.

I understand why people would want to be thoughtful of transsexuals/transgenders- I was, and I'm sure many others here were too. But anyone who still supports these troons after years of seeing their unrelenting narcissism, misogyny and sexual depravity on full display is totally undeserving of sympathy imo.

Why is it always the ugly ones that say this dumb bs? Also they're transwomen but the only thing they ever go on and on about is their male penis like some sexually frustrated teenage boy. And they wonder why they're seen as weirdos.

Lol more proof that trannies are suffering disproportionately from covid-19

Bárbara Delgado, a trans woman and health outreach worker, was distributing food near her home in Panama last week when she was detained by police for being out on the "wrong day" under the government's new, gender-based quarantine rules, the rights group Human Rights Watch told CBS News.

To slow the spread of COVID-19, the government of Panama on April 1 imposed new lockdown measures that only allow men and women to leave their homes on alternate days of the week. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays are for women. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays are for men. No one can go out on Sundays.

Authorities have the power to confirm a person's gender identity — and thus, whether they are in violation of quarantine — by checking their official documentation. In Panama, trans people can't legally change their sex unless they have had sex reassignment surgery, so many trans people, like Delgado, are stuck in limbo .

"She was treated differently from the other people that were out"
In addition to only being able to go out on certain days determined by gender, each person has allocated times they are permitted to leave their homes that are based on their national ID numbers. On the first day of the lockdown, Delgado had not yet been issued a transit pass by the clinic where she worked, and was stopped by the police for being out outside of her allotted window, along with three others.

The others, who had not been doing volunteer work, were told to go home by police. Delgado, however, was brought back to the station.

"She was treated differently from the other people that were out," Cristian González Cabrera, an LGBT researcher at Human Rights Watch, told CBS News.

"She was brought to the police station, and she was there for three hours, where she also suffered more discrimination at the hands of the justice of the peace, because he also accused her of not being a woman," Cabrera said.

Delgado was eventually released after paying a fine equivalent to $50.

"That shows how trans people are treated differently in Panama in the context of this gender-based quarantine," Cabrera told CBS News.

Since the lockdown came into effect in Panama, Cabrera has documented three more cases of trans people being discriminated against because of the gender rules.

"They all left (their homes) on the day dictated by the gender marker on their ID, but when they tried to go to the supermarket in two of the cases and the bank in one case, they were met with discrimination by either police officers or security agents," Cabrera said.

Panama hasn't issued any guidance for what trans or non-binary people should do in the context of the gender-based quarantine rules, but Cabrera hopes it will.

"Bárbara went out on the day for women even though her ID says male. The other transgender people actually went out on the day dictated by their ID and they also suffered discrimination. So you're damned if you do, damned if you don't in this context," he said.

Female prison officers have been raped by male-bodied inmates who self-identify as trans women, a former Minister has revealed.

The disclosure was made by Rory Stewart, the ex-Tory Cabinet Minister who oversaw prisons in 2018 and 2019 and who is now running as an independent candidate for Mayor of London.

It will fuel questions about policies that have allowed criminals with male bodies to describe themselves as female and demand to be housed in women's prisons.

Mr Stewart told GQ magazine: 'When I was Prisons Minister, we had situations of male prisoners selfidentifying as females then raping staff in prison.'
The claim is the first public reference to trans women assaulting prison staff in women's jails, but it follows warnings that allowing malebodied criminals into female jails puts women in danger.
It was reported last year there are up to 1,500 inmates who describe themselves as transgender among the 90,000 prisoners in England and Wales – raising concerns that some are claiming to be trans to get access to women's jails.
In 2018, a transgender inmate was found to have sexually assaulted women in a female prison.
Karen White, born Stephen Wood, had been sent to HMP New Hall near Wakefield, West Yorkshire, despite having had neither surgery nor hormone treatment – and despite being a convicted paedophile on remand for grievous bodily harm, multiple rapes and other sexual offences against women.
In response to concerns about the situation, the Prison Service last year established a dedicated wing for housing some trans inmates at women's jail HMP Downview near Banstead, Surrey.
In the interview with GQ, Mr Stewart was asked about so-called 'self-ID' policies, which could mean anyone who identifies as a woman is allowed to go into female-only spaces, such as changing rooms and toilets.

He replied: 'I'm instinctively worried about that, partly because when I was Prisons Minister, we had situations of male prisoners self-identifying as females then raping staff in prison.
'So I think if somebody is biologically male, particularly in an environment like a prison, we shouldn't allow that to happen.
'We have to be pretty cautious about how we think that happens in other spaces.
'The important thing is: I think the rights of women to feel safe trump the rights of somebody who's biologically male to enter that space.'
The Ministry of Justice recently said policies are in place to manage the risks that might be posed by male-bodied prisoners who say they are trans women.

First off. I know I shouldn’t laugh but I am.

Secondly, let’s do some post modern math. How many white cis women need to be raped by “male body women” until something is done?
