Vinny got Raymond in AC, googled him, got twitterpilled and left him. Chat shat a brick as a result.

I like how whenever Notch is mentioned half of chat does the very funny "HaTsUnE MikU mAdE MiNeCraFT UwU" joke to show how not-mad they are at Notch being a shitlord on social media. (yeah I'm aware of the irony and I'll take my Mad at the Internet reactions)

The schism in chats like Vinny's and, to a lesser extent, Jerma's is very funny, because you have two utterly different groups who have both latched onto something for completely different reasons and both want their internet funny man to act the way they prefer. So you have half of chat screaming "UWU VINNY UWU FUCK MY BOI PUSSY UWUUUUUUU" and the other half drinking their white monster energy complaining about how far chat has degraded since their day while contributing nothing but tired, stale memes.

That's why when I become a hip and relatable steamer I'm going to ban anyone who disagrees with me and chat will be actually one guy posting monkas over and over again.

Sounds like a great chat.

Someone mentioned it before about Vinny being on an episode of Boundary Break and sounding off/scripted/probably other things.
He was in the new episode and it wasn't scripted. He seemed like he enjoyed it much more.

Both Vinny AND Jerma have chat overlap but Jerma's chat is way, way, WAY worse. Imagine Sunday stream chat but every stream. You got people dropping buzzwords like chud and acronyms like ACAB while another half is using cuck, simp, soyboy, ironically to semi-ironically. It's incredibly awkward to observe.

When I said "to a lesser extent", I meant because Jerma's chat is vastly more weighted toward the "uwu" side than Vinny's is. I don't go to Vinny's streams anymore but I can guarantee without even seeing Vin's chat that Jerma's is infinitely worse.

I have heard Jerma can't even say "trap" anymore due to chat screaming "ITS A SLUR uwu" Like Vinny can't say Gay baby jail (He says GBJ) cause chat will spam pride emojis. Hell, even band names and songs are not safe. the chat went all "uwu GAAAAAY" cause of him mentioning Butthole Surfers. And don't forget when he played Menard's dick "Its a SONG, chat." cause chat just kept spamming pride emojis.

My guess is if Jerma did the same with fave band names his chat would be super cancer

To be completely fair, Twitch chat has a HUGE love of Gachi memes and those emotes aren't enabled on Vin's channel. I promise you if gachiBASS were enabled on his channel people memeing would be using those instead of the pride demotes and people who are GENUINELY like that wouldn't be using Gachi, because it's somehow homophobic. The meme shitlords just don't have other options, so it isn't "UWU" ENTIRELY.

You're right about Jerma not being able to say trap though, people thinking it's a slur are clinically exceptional. Recently at the end of one of his streams (I believe Black and White 2) he had an entire discussion about not knowing what to do with chat when it gets autistic- he doesn't know if he should be super iron fist or if he should ignore it. I feel super bad for the dude. Jerma is Vinesauce-adjacent so I think it'd be very productive to look into his hellhole of a community.

I don't participate in any streamer communities outside this thread since Panoots kicked the metaphorical streaming bucket, but I guarantee there has to be some unearthed gold in Jerma's community.

I miss Panoots so fucking much. His laugh was legit one of the most contagious on the website. His mod Stwabunny seems iffy though, during his Bug Fables stream I think either she or Mike had a fit or small issue with chat calling a character a thot. Mike himself was just a treasure.

As for Jerma, if you want quick and easy entertainment with a side of wanting to blow your brains out, watch one of his streams and check chat every fifteen seconds. Super easy to find something stupid regarding either the simp squad or the "UWU" patrol. His discord is public though, and it gets pretty spicy when mods aren't around.

I have to contribute to the Panoots talk. He had the greatest sense of humor ever. I don't understand how one man can laugh at so many things, but I loved him for it.
Without a doubt my favorite streamer, ever. The guy was charming as hell, had excellent taste in vidya, and like you said, the best sense of humor. He was really good about never wearing shit out or letting a bit go on too long (unless that was the bit). Usually, even when I like a streamer, they'll have moments where I'm like "Dude just shut the fuck up" but I can't think of a time I was like that with Mike.

I got banned from his chat near the end for using the word rape for some reason or another, and I emailed him about it to apologize (well, to get my chat privileges back lol). Unbeknownst to us at that point he was hitting rock bottom personally, but he was still super cool and basically just said it wasn't a big deal and that he'd get me unbanned asap. Sadly, he only did one more stream after I got that email. His chat was always the most fun to be in because nobody was a super cringelord on either side of the spectrum and there were just enough people to hold a conversation. Not too little, not too few.

God I miss the guy. I hope he's doing well these days. The fact that we'll never see his reaction to Banjo and Kazooie getting into Smash breaks my heart.

Sourced from DesertP, one of the Vinesauce-adjacent streamers and a generally cool dude; he's doing completely fine and isn't in any sort of trouble. Though with Corona going around I hope this remains the case.

And if ANYTHING, we'll always have the Banjo Gun to lift our spirits.

Holy shit, what an improvement. That first Boundary Break crossover was a masterclass in secondhand embarrassment, and for me personally, I think the worst part is that no one seemed to be enjoying themselves in that video - definitely not Vinny, certainly not the audience, but even the Boundary Break guy (whose name I don't know and honestly I don't care to find out) seemed to struggle with covering Vinny's awkwardness. It was just an all around unpleasant video.

This one is a lot more relaxed and I could actually bear to watch it for more than 30 seconds, so kudos to them for taking a more casual approach with it.

Honestly, as far as obnoxious memes go, I see that one infrequently enough now that I really don't find it super irritating. It's definitely nowhere near my top 10 most annoying Vinesauce memes, for sure. The way I see it, Notch is an acceptable target and everyone on the planet loves mocking him, so it's not as annoying as some of the more forced memes that I've seen in Vinesauce chats. I could talk forever about how much I can't stand the very forced BRUUUHHH moments from Joel's chat, for instance, since they happen a lot more often and weren't really that funny to start with, but the Hatsune Miku one is just kind of dumb on purpose, which I can respect.

This hit me in the feels because I've watched plenty of streams were someone would randomly drop a pride emote (usually trans pride) and suddenly the chat would go to hell.
Then Jerma would go, "hey guys, what's going on in chat?" awkwardly or tries to tell a joke & distract everyone. It's fucking annoying because it makes him uncomfortable but the dick heads spamming and arguing don't care. I used to think Joel was kind of mean and sensitive but no, he just does not allow dumb shit in his chat. He shuts it down before it starts, It feels like Joel has fewer weirdos in his chat.

It's tough to tell whether people dropping the trans pride shit are doing it on purpose or doing it unironically, but I like to think it's both. Mostly the latter.

Jerma has NO spine when it comes to shutting these people down mid-stream because the chat is WAY too big and the blow back would be too huge. Or the bootlicking from the opposite spectrum. Causing more blow back. Joel has people who like fart and cock jokes in his chat and a history of not being on board with the identity politics bullshit.

Jerma is already in the situation people think Vinny is going to be in if he doesn't clamp down on the primary issue and he basically has no real control over it besides mods. Pool's Closed jokes are also not allowed in his chat when a certain moderator is around. Apparently it's racist.

Joel's absolute embrace of his metal-loving manchild boomer lifestyle has honestly created a powerful aura around him that enables him to tell chat to fuck off when he needs to. Sadly it also comes with...40 minutes or arguing with chat over minor save file problems and the like.

Joel is probably the most consistently inconsistent content creator I've ever watched. His highs are stratospheric and his lows are scraping the obsidian at the bottom of the lava pits of Hell. Thankfully the highs tend to be a lot more frequent than the lows, especially when he's playing something he can just groove right into. Anything where he has to pay attention and learn and such tends to lead to disaster.

The correct solution would be to play King Crimson's "Elephant Talk" at a steadily increasing volume until people get distracted and start spamming memotes instead, but that wouldn't be good for the VODs
