Feminists probably did part of it. I'm not sure about FTMs, but the general "all men are bad" attitude likely made some men want to become MTF. It's not uncommon to find MTFs who hold deeply misandrist views.
It's not misogyny to point out that it's likely modern feminism accidentally helped created the troon inquisition, lol. I'm a woman and I agree with that sentiment.

So what about ftms? If all men are bad and women are good, why do they want to become men? Sure there are "men are bad" trannies, but you can just as easily find ftms who hate women.
Same for mtfs, and this thread is littered with them. So I guess anti-feminism or edgy womanhating is also causing the troonpocalypse. It just strikes me as strange to blame feminism over the trans advocacy movement itself, but everyone has their favorite scapegoat. When "trans rights" became obligatorily tacked on with gay rights, making it a political rather than a mental health issue, they had their foot in the door. Of course intersectional third wave feminists eventually adopted the cause but the take on the previous page was that anti-trans feminism caused people to troon out, which is just retarded.

i think placing part of the blame on feminism (3rd wave) is valid. It's been really a trojan horse situation. Once the movement broke off into gender/queer theory and radical feminism, the original meaning of intersectionality got lost in the sauce. Once the women in women's rights shifted to "gender inclusion", that is.
Meaning, in their pursuit to be all-inclusive and change the movement about making everyone special rather than female liberation, 3rd wave liberal feminists welcomed the trojan horse that was transgenderism (initially perceiving it as an issue of gender oppression-and then by extension then, women's oppression). As soon as that happened, the movement was doomed. They truly let themselves be scammed by the biggest grifters in history: mentally-ill men infiltrating the women's movement and centering it around themselves.
My stance is that feminists in the 80s and 90s should have stuck to their guns & not allowed gender/queer theorists to pervert the movement from its goal.
Why does each and every one of them look like they smell like fermented Taki dust?

Just like the weird breasts a few pages ago this is probably the result of extreme weightloss. When you are very large then lose a lot of weight you get saggy skin that almost looks like an extra suit. The more stretchmarks you have when you are bigger the more loose, saggy, wrinkled looking skin you have post weight-loss.

Maybe FTMs have different reasons for transitioning. The one you posted doesn't really seem to hate women, she just seems to dislike the way most women behave.
I don't know much about feminism. I just remember that in the early 2010's, social justice became mainstream. It became cool to put women on pedestals and vilify men. Anita Sarkeesian, Zoe Quinn, Gamergate, tumblr culture.. after those things became popular, every nerdy online hangout had some type of social justice drama going on. It seemed to catch on in colleges and universities as well. MTFs, being primarily nerdy autists, would have been exposed to that. They could react in one of two ways:
1. Reject the social justice movement and be labeled problematic shitlords.
2. Accept it and absorb the misandry it was spewing.
The "feminism helped create the trans pandemic" idea is just a theory, but it seems plausible to me that after hearing enough social justice talk they would start hating themselves for being male. If feminism is indeed partially at fault, it's probably whatever branch was responsible for the sjw shitshow of the past decade. Third wave, right?
