Because all he does is textually defecate on Twitter. Do these people actually think "Oh shit, I'm getting wailed on on Twitter, I'd better call in the dumbest, angriest person I know to take my side"?

And the only thing he'd change about his whole life up to now is having a few salads? He really has learned nothing.

Bob is pretty clearly either always alone, or with other people as fat or fatter than himself. And since only his family can stand him, I think we now know just where he picked up those (over-)eating habits. The white trash status of the Chipmans further solidifies.
