Yeah, if you're a gay or effeminate guy in Iran, you can risk prison or get the chop. The social pressure to conform to your gender is enormous.
There was this effeminate Iranian guy who posted on r/detrans about being forced into transition by his parents. He wasn't gay, HSTS, or even AGP, he was just a fancy lad. Obviously haram. Whenever I hear someone talking about how Islam is sooooo accepting of trans people you guise, I remember this post about the guy who got force femmed by the Ayatollah. (link) (archive)
tl;dr His surgical results were bad, and then his parents force him to marry. He finds the husband, who as you might expect is the kind of guy who can't afford to care that his wife is a man. The marriage is a nightmare, then the husband gets a job in the US, and this guy escapes the relationship. He continues to live as a woman in the US, but says if he'd grown up in the states then he wouldn't have transitioned in the first place.

This is weird because Yaz is birth control, and drospirerone is a progestin, not an anti-androgen. There are a bunch of other odd little details in his story, though I still don't think it's a troll. He wins "most bizarre transition story" if he's for real. The account (u/iloveamazonsprime) is suspended, but I checked a while ago and I'm pretty sure he only used it to make this post.
You're right - Yaz (Yasmin) is birth control and I can safely say from experience that taking more the one a day would make you super sick because I've done this on accident and it makes you chuck your cookies really bad.
