Can confirm, I know many people IRL who have gotten a lapband. However, despite the portion control (they call it a fill, you get your stomach filled with a certain amount of liquid), all but one person gained almost all of their weight back or lost very little weight at all. Why? Because they were eating the same shit and not taking care of themselves.

Remember, kids! Even with weight loss surgery, it’s all about a lifestyle change and maintaining a healthy diet.
