Above vid was a "documentary" on Yanderedev. A pretty bad one and I don't recommend watching it especially this isn't the main point of this post.

If you want a summary of the vid, it's basically this:

1. Despite it being an "unbiased" "documentary" on YandereDev, he said he was friends with Alex and the video was more of a pointless "debunking" video filled with unrelated game footage.
2. He defends comparisons between Etika and Alex regarding suicide baiting (as well as him going on about how he handled getting bullied)
3. He defends his code as if the only arguments about his code are "if-else" statements and how he's human and humans make mistakes and how it's choice for any stuff he does.
4. He states about how Alex got more hate as a pedophile compared with Epstein (lol wut).
5. He mentions his own game and how he's an Indie developer (For some reason? This will be important later), saying the same argument about how if Osana is finished the game would be finished easier for other rivals as well as pointless explanation on it (see image below)

6. I assume the Harley is talking about the girl who says "Yandere Dev! Yandere Dev!". He says about how Alex killing her is satire.
7. Mentions about the Yandere Data Digger's server as if it's the most notable anti-Yandere Dev community. Also does some ranting about it and about how spreading hate about his video is against freedom of speech.

Still feels kinda disappointing. This had a great potential to become a Liquid Chris of Yandere Simulator, but such shutdown is kinda anticlimactic.

To be fair, I've seen part of Markiplier's attempts to beat it and the impression I got was that it's a pretty repetitive and miserable experience and if you don't use a guide you will have an even worse time because there are so many different, often RNG based, ways the game can say "Fuck you, you lose" suddenly.

Alex is probably so sheltered he believes dumb stuff about vigilante justice. Alex always defaults to extremes. He doesn't have critics, he has gremlins. It's not a meme, it's harassment, etc. He loves to say stuff like 'if this happened, you'd do x, they'd say y, so you'd feel z' like in his Hate and Shame video. So of course he'd justify a school shooting on the grounds that 'if you only kill bullies it's okay'.

See, this is fucking me up because it sounds exactly like you're describing Yandere Simulator, only you can't actually "beat" it because there's absolutely no win condition. Mariplier even stopped playing builds of YanSim because so little was being added and there was fucking nothing to do.

I think the idea of the main character being a crazy bitch is enough.

Adding an overarching story like the government using her as a sleeper agent to assassinate foreign agents disguised as high school girls is contrived, doesn't add anything, and goes against the original story in a negative way.
