Yandere chan doesnt even have a name besides yandere chan.

She didn't originally, she does now - it's Ayano. I don't think people cared much for the parody of Western perceptions of Japan, and probably liked the juxtaposition between cute anime girls and bloody murder, it's stuff like that which made bad shows like School Days and Elfen Lied popular, and likely also why Yume Nikki sticks with so many people. (Although Yume Nikki is good unlike the latter two examples and Alex's shit game)

he offered to pay 10k(!!) for the sub?

not a lawyer but selling someone the chance to disable a conduit of embarrassing info you operate seems like very dicey territory. if alex was clever he should have played coy until they got greedy and said something stupid, then spent the thousands on an attorney to harass reddit admins directly over muh extortion. or he should have, idk, got the sub first and not paid them at all.

as is reads like he offered his haters a chance to rob him, then he got robbed.

His initial price was to buy the subreddit and discord from palcto for 10k. Palcto refused, and a few months later, two of the three remaining moderators decided that they didn't want to run a toxic community anymore, so they passed it to Alex. They expected the 10k, but Alex said he wasn't willing to pay 10k anymore.

Do his pay piggies know what a master he is with money? No, really, I'm sure 10k is lowballing..... 😂😂😂

Does he actually credit his volunteers anywhere are their real names attached to anything YS related??? Or are they just fine with this? It's fucking worse than the 'work for exposure' thing.

In YanSim's case with Eva's current reputation it's not even fucking GOOD exposure.

My best guess is that Kuroko is a ripoff of Kiryuuin Satsuki form Kill la Kill since her apearance is kinda identical and she also a part of student council but as president, not vice.
Pardon me for going off-topic but I do not, in the slightest, get how this could ever possibly be considered power-levelling.

People don't know what that is anymore tbh lol

its a review? site
The game is still pre beta, isnt it? It's still a sandbox or whatever he calls it since the main goal isnt ready... so why is anyone advertising or reviewing it? This is weird. I honestly wanna know yandevs rationale, or wonder if he even knows, cause advertising was only listed in one of his later steps of plans for the game (I can go find ths chart if people dont remember what I'm talking about)

I think someone posted earlier in the thread about these scam sites using the game to get people to click. Like those fake Pokemon games you occasionally see.

He's probably mixed up with this site's version of powerleveling and what it is when anime is involved. You'd be revealing your power level if you sperg out in depth about an anime in front of people who don't watch it, which in the case of this thread probably isn't that kind of power leveling either anyway.

He can't afford to pay artists and coders but he can afford to pay to take down a subreddit because it said bad words.

That 3k could have bought him another person to work for a month on the project to make it advance.
I have a couple of buddies trying to scrouge up the money to make a tabletop game from their day jobs. They could have it nearly finished, or even make a digital version for $3k.

I've shown one of them the history of YanSim and I think it made him cry. Something about "watching a golden goose of a business be slowly strangled to death."

Elfen Lied is awesome and I will not let this insult stand!

(Hey I love any show where humans are virtually killed.)

What would stop anybody from just releasing their own YanSim? Has Alex actually gone through the work of copywriting or trademarking it? I have a cousin (Cody the code bot) who could probably create a basic, functional edition of the game in 6 months.

Nothing. Its why games like Watashi no Mono are able to work on the game and make one in the first place. This dude is waiting to release a demo but I believe he's worked on it half as long, and is already making most of the stuff rather than sitting on place holders. The only thing that they'd have to watch out for is calling it Yandere Simulator, as Alex could then potentially take it to court, but that would still be monetarily inadvisable as I doubt he's registered the game for a copy right.

Even if Watashi No Mono has ceased development, they still made more progress in a much shorter time.

Take these with grains of salt:

Above vid was a "documentary" on Yanderedev. A pretty bad one and I don't recommend watching it especially this isn't the main point of this post.

If you want a summary of the vid, it's basically this:

1. Despite it being an "unbiased" "documentary" on YandereDev, he said he was friends with Alex and the video was more of a pointless "debunking" video filled with unrelated game footage.
2. He defends comparisons between Etika and Alex regarding suicide baiting (as well as him going on about how he handled getting bullied)
3. He defends his code as if the only arguments about his code are "if-else" statements and how he's human and humans make mistakes and how it's choice for any stuff he does.
4. He states about how Alex got more hate as a pedophile compared with Epstein (lol wut).
5. He mentions his own game and how he's an Indie developer (For some reason? This will be important later), saying the same argument about how if Osana is finished the game would be finished easier for other rivals as well as pointless explanation on it (see image below)
1583948595009.png

6. I assume the Harley is talking about the girl who says "Yandere Dev! Yandere Dev!". He says about how Alex killing her is satire.
7. Mentions about the Yandere Data Digger's server as if it's the most notable anti-Yandere Dev community. Also does some ranting about it and about how spreading hate about his video is against freedom of speech.

I know you'd say, "Well why the fuck should I give a shit about a poorly done video made by an underaged kid that can't even break 4 digits of views and his subscriber count is just 4 digits?" (Which fyi, he's currently 16 years old. https://youtube.fandom.com/wiki/HarleyTBS , https://archive.is/UFQLm )

Well remember I posted earlier that he was an Indie developer? Well Alex actually even helped him on that too, as shown below:

And on another note if you keep going, this one caught my attention. Apparently Alex was banning people involved in Watashi No Mono just for talking about Alex:

tl;dr
1. Alex helped an young Indie developer for some game, and even commented on his "documentary" video which had very little views.
2. Alex apparently banned some people involved in Watashi no Mono server just for talking about him.
