Right now InkBunny has been getting DDoSed for four days straight from China (and maxing out their NICs), but literally nobody has noticed because other than vocal cub furries and artists who dump their art to other sites nobody uses Inkbunny. It's the containment site of furry art sites, furries refuse to use it because of the fact they allow cub and people who post cub use it because it's banned on most other sites.
And here we see the result of intersectional ideas gone too far.
Sure it has nothing to do with the grooming & subsequent raping or kids and animals? I mean it's not like there wasn't a fairly well received documentary which had a decent sample sized survey that showed 20% of the fandom are openly zoophiles. Surely it has nothing to do with the largest outing in fandom history where almost 200 people were caught in an extremely graphic Zoosadism & pedophilia ring. It ABSOLUTELY has nothing to do with the fandom WELCOMING THESE PEOPLE BACK into con spaces even after some have been on the registered sex offenders list for YEARS.
The problem with this is that there are lots of furries into straight furry porn, including bi furries. Some of the top voted posts on e621 (including the #1 top voted post) are straight porn images and animations. There are a lot of furries who are "jailhouse gay" as well as seen by the number of dudes who'd have female fursonas back in the day. There's more women in the fandom than there used to be (see Tumblr and DeviantArt) and there are plenty of guys who dream of having a furry artist GF.

It's because Furry used to be (still is to a lesser extent) Jailhouse Gay as hell. It's full of guys desperate to think they're hooking up with a girl. You go onto any of the text-based mediums with a comely female character and you get a hell of a lot of attention. It gets the endorphins rolling. Personal theory: I think this has caused a few transitions in Furry.
Haven't seen it mentioned yet but Confuzzled has made a statement about what they plan to do in lieu of COVID-19. The TL;DR is that they aren't cancelling the con yet but are waiting for advice from the UK Board of Health.
Personally, I feel like continuing is a bad idea. Cons in general are just a breeding ground for disease. Everyone I've ever known who's gone to any convention has complained about " Con Flu " after getting back. Adding the facts that-
A: it's a convention which brings in people from all over Europe and some parts of the US and
B: Furries are notoriously unhygienic
This is basically a ticking bio-bomb waiting to go off.
