A transgender girl accused of assaulting two students at a Texas high school alleges that she was being bullied and was merely fighting back

Shocking video shows a student identified by police as Travez Perry violently punching, kicking and stomping on a girl in the hallway of Tomball High School.

The female student was transported to the hospital along with a male student, whom Perry allegedly kicked in the face and knocked unconscious.

According to the police report, Perry - who goes by 'Millie' - told officers that the victim has been bullying her and had posted a photo of her on social media with a negative comment.

One Tomball High School parent whose daughter knows Perry said that the 18-year-old had been the target of a death threat.

'From what my daughter has said that the girl that was the bully had posted a picture of Millie saying people like this should die,' the mother, who asked not to be identified by name, told DailyMail.com.

When Perry appeared in court on assault charges, her attorney told a judge that the teen has been undergoing a difficult transition from male to female and that: 'There's more to this story than meets the eye.'

Perry is currently out on bond, according to authorities.

The video of the altercation sparked a widespread debate on social media as some claim Perry was justified in standing up to her alleged bullies and others condemn her use of violence.

The mother who spoke with DailyMail.com has been one of Millie's most ardent defenders on Facebook.

'I do not condone violence at all. But situations like this show that people now a days, not just kids, think they can post what they want. Or say what they want without thinking of who they are hurting,' she said.

'Nobody knows what Millie has gone through, and this could have just been a final straw for her. That is all speculation of course because I don't personally know her or her family, but as a parent and someone who is part of the LGBTQ community this girl needs help and support, not grown men online talking about her private parts and shaming and mocking her.'

One Facebook commenter summed up the views of many, writing: 'This was brutal, and severe! I was bullied for years and never attacked anyone!'

Multiple commenters rejected the gender transition defense and classified the attack as a male senselessly beating a female.

One woman wrote on Facebook: 'This person will get off because they're transitioning. This is an animal. She kicked, and stomped, and beat...not okay. Bullying is not acceptable, but kicking someone in the head. Punishment doesn't fit the crime.'

I'm against parents doing the hormone blocker stuff with really young kids who don't know better, but this chick was sixteen, sat through three hour-long appointments, spent an entire year on blockers before getting testosterone, and then finally did the surgery after going through this transgender shit for years. Sixteen is a reasonable age for making these kinds of decisions, and she had years to decide not to mutilate her body if she wanted.

Let's compare that to another thing that makes people commit suicide: bipolar disorder.

On average, it took 3.5 (±5.8 ) years to confirm a diagnosis of bipolar I disorder following the first major mood episode.

Why all that waiting when it would be safer to just put adults on depakene, lithium and lamitrogen as soon as they walked through the door and said they identify as bipolar. It could save lives.

But what about the kids?

In the latest version of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) published by the American Psychiatric Association, writers added a new pediatric mood disorder called Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD). Children can be diagnosed with DMDD between the ages of 6 and 18, and many of the symptoms of DMDD are similar to bipolar disorder.

What? They differentiate between adults and children because children are not adults and their brain haven't finished developing? Fucking psychology, just give them the meds, at least those won't turn the kids into mutants like some other things they prescribe to kids these days...


The thing about giving kids blockers and hormones at the drop of a hat because they feel like they have that thing they read about on the internet is that nothing else in medicine and psychology works like that. Olivia Purdie, a Year 6 student from Adelaide, spoke to the ABC's Four Corners about living non-binary - where a person's gender identity is neither male or female.

'I am non-binary, which means I have no gender. I am just me,' Olivia told the program, titled 'Not a Boy, Not a Girl'.

'The world basically revolves around boxes and those two boxes are a male and a female box.

'People try to duct tape the box so then you'll stay like that. But I cut the duct tape and opened up into my own box.'

Olivia's mother Jane Russo said: 'We were informed about the risks of Olivia going on puberty blockers… but we believed this risk was low and we weighed it against Olivia's mental health and wellbeing.

If I was to disregard Olivia's thoughts and how Olivia was feeling, I'd lose my child... By saying ''this is a fad'', that ''this is child abuse''… it's actually not the reality.

Dr Swift said young gender-diverse people have better mental health when supported by their family and friends.

'Their number of suicide attempts are less, their deliberate self-harm is less, and their general wellbeing is improved,' Dr Swift said.

Audrey Mason-Hyde, who went to the same primary school as Olivia, is gender non-binary and wants to 'change the world'.

The 14-year-old said: 'I think a lot of people do identify as non-binary and want to change their body to fit what they see as the ideal body.'

Despite the trolls, most viewers were in awe of Olivia's ability to articulate what it is like to be non-binary and without the constraints of gender.

One person said they were reminded how important the segment was after reading the nasty comments about Olivia.

'I'm so disheartened by the comments with so much judgement. Why can't we just live and let live? I'm so in awe of Olivia,' another wrote.

Some viewers suggested the trolls turned their frustration towards the 11-year-old because they didn't understand what it's like to be gender diverse.

'The human race is evolving. People are just scared of what they don't understand,' one said.

'It is so sad that people feel the need to be mean to other people just because they don't understand their different life journey,' added another.

Not only is this an absurd false dichotomy by a child in regards to sexual orientation, it's a harmful one as well. These things have lifelong consequences, and what's worse, there isn't a lot of research into exactly how this stuff will unfold later. I don't think sexually or mentally healthy people spend much, if any time thinking about their sexual identity, and to do so at age 11 isn't just unusual, it's alarming. That sort of thing is indicative of sexual abuse at worst and being manipulated at best.

Also, compared to people who identify with their birth sex, how do nonbinary people's suicide rates hold up, even when supported by their hugbox friends and family? I'm not a betting man, but I'm guessing the results are somewhere closer to tranny suicide rates than normie suicide rates.

Like, I'm willing to accept that a tiny minority of people are genuinely suffering gender dysphoria, in the same way that people that suffer traumatic amputation suffer body dysphoria - the propriocentric map (the internal map that the brain has for the body, that instinctively tells us where our limbs are, in relation to the rest of us) could definitely be confused by the presence of unexpected genitals and secondary sexual characteristics, in exactly the same way that we see amputees struggling with their brain insisting there's a phantom limb at the amputation site. They'll complain of phantom itches, and similar phenomenon, and such issues are corrected through therapy and prosthetics.

It also doesn't surprise me that teenagers would have "body dysphoria" of an incredibly transient nature, since they're growing rapidly, and the propriocentric map has to catch up to that rapid growth. If you've ever seen a gangly ass teen regularly tripping on themselves, that's what's happening - their body has grown rapidly, and their brain is still catching up. All that shit goes away eventually, and the vast majority of people (barring the truly physically hopeless) generally stop being clumsy dumbasses in their early 20's, because the huge growth spurts are done.

But the notion that there's huge numbers of legitimate cases of gender dysphoria is absurd, and the recent uproar about the possibility that "social contagion" plays a role in the existence of Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria is 100% exceptional as fuck, because there's absolutely no doubt that human beings, and especially teenaged human beings that just want to fit in with the cool crowd will mimic and re-express socially acceptable behaviours is incontrovertible.
