Facial features are attractive on a cultural and relative level.

People like different facial types, and Seph's face is perfectly normal. He has no legitimate reason to get his surgery that I've heard of yet- his chin isn't deformed and his face isn't screwed up. What Seph really needs is to start looking forward in life instead of himself. Hopefully he manages to do that.

I hope he does too, and it'd be cool if he did it without surgery, but I personally think surgery will help. If recessed chins were attractive in Western culture, I'm sure Seph wouldn't be seeking surgery were health issues not at play. Unfortunately, they aren't, and some people would rather attempt to look normal rather than into deluding themselves that nobody cares but them.
