Last summer I fed my idiot cousins and their equally idiotic mother some salmon I had performed the ancient and proscribed arts of adding onion, diced tomato, olive oil and sweet red peppers to, then wrapping in foil and cooking for 30 minutes at 400F, and they thought I was some kind of food wizard.

How do people who can't cook basic staple like stuff even remember to breathe?

Now that I think of it, "Mermaids" is actually a pretty appropriate name if you think of how originally mermaids were tricksy beings who lured sailors to their doom with their allure. Just swap kids for sailors.

won't happen. he's not in school, or there is something amiss about it, if he is.

heather might know, but pretends she doesn't. what will finally pierce the delusion, is what i wanna know. & why i follow this particular soap. what is he doing instead & with who, how much, etc. that's the real story.
i still hold to this view - i see no proof whatsoever that zach is in school. this is somebody who tweets every trip to walmart, car-maintenance place or fast food joint, because his life is such a bore. i can't imagine overprotected zach expending this much energy & not posting photos. he posts photos of EVERYTHING else in his life, even to the point of being stomach-turning.

i've seen lots of cheaters in my life. both sexes. the usual modus operandi is go into crisis/chaos mode when there is a good chance of being discovered: suddenly require ER visit, have some type of nervous breakdown, get violent, drug overdose, asthma, fake/exaggerated sports injuries. etc. if zach employs any of these tactics & therefore suddenly must "drop out"--this is what is really happening, he had to cut his losses.

but if its not cheating or dope he is occupying himself with, can't figure out what else it would be.

i think this ongoing lie might be real reason penny left.
s/he knew the truth & couldn't keep up the shit show or was just not inclined to do it or emotionally invest in it.
once zach knew penny was well & truly gone, he could have his nervous breakdown (see above) & howl about penny's awfulness.
but remember we didn't even know penny was gone from their house *for months*--so zach knows how to keep secrets when they make him look bad. he decided he would take over the narrative & make penny look bad instead.

i'm sure penny knows lots & lots about zach, that heather doesn't, that we don't. that's why he keeps up the trashing, even when its obv penny just wants to distance himself & forget the whole nasty interlude.

my vote in this presidential primary season: zach not in school now & never was.

The only reason I think Zach is in school is because the story about how he couldn’t even get the required number of people to listen to him speak is so pathetic that I can’t believe he’d make it up as a lie.
I do think most of his classes are online classes and that he’s lying to Heather about where he is and what he’s doing when he’s at “school.”
