Therapists don't want to scare you off on the first appointment, so they start slow with the easy stuff. Later, as they build rapport with the client, they will start zoning in on the more uncomfortable subjects and give the client "homework" projects to get the person more used to exploring those subjects that bother them the most. Its a gradual approach. Most people will at least try to go out of their comfort zone when they want to change. That's not Chinny, though. She will reeee and head to Arby's if they even get close to that point of self reflection.
 
Pardon, as I'm new to this cow, but why does she pay for therapy? No coverage? Or is it because she isn't in the mental health care system?

To become part of the system she would have to properly be diagnosed and assessed.

@Dutch Courage -- Grief counseling and Cognitive behavior counseling are free, but she'd first need to either refer herself or get a family doctor to. Then (if called), she'd have to do more paperwork about why she feels she needs the limited spots to attend and then have two or three interviews.

They expect the clients to do homework with worksheets and booklets. It's a heavy process and this cow definitely doesn't have the attitude or aptitude to even step foot in the door.

Chantal is a paradox in a way - a very busy woman doing lots of nothing.

Also, in the debate of Chantal cheating on Beebs with Peetz? I'm on the side "no, not physically". Chantal isn't really in shape enough for sex. She can't lay on her back, her FUPA is too big for doggy style, and she has said she's only into Vanilla sex anyway. Add to that the months of healing in the FUPA.

I Do think it's possible she's had an emotional affair with Peetz all this time. Beebs being the provider of physical comfort and Peetz for emotional comfort. The only thing that the two have in common is they're emotionally distant though Beebs is reported to being a nice guy and I think he did the right thing until she was healed, or Chantal used him until she was healed... or both.

I do lean that the break up was mutual and most likely started long before the surgery but they had to have discussed the procedure and what it would mean to their futures.

But is there a dramatic scandalous affair going on? No. These men are not dramatic; it's Chantal who is the drama. I think Beebs didn't go to the hotel for the family dinner and party because he was working, and probably already out of fucks to give - he also missed a few family events this year. Thanksgiving and maybe a birthday was all he attended. Though generally speaking, I don't think Chantal is giving sexual favors out to anyone, so perhaps thats another issue for her to be all like "my vag - it's useless now". especially considering she probably can barely reach the vag as it is.

Seriously. Any therapist worth a damn will warn you that talking about uncomfortable things is part of the healing process. Their job is to guide you through it so you dont hurl yourself off a bridge.

As to what @Punkinsplice said, that may very well be the therapists intention, but you know idiot Chantal didn't interpret it that way.

To add to this... she should NOT be going to inpatient and taking up one of the very limited spots there. She has proven with her belligerent mukbangs she isn't ready to get better. If you start a video saying 'yeah, I ordered food again, don't like it, don't watch' you aren't serious about recovery. There are people who are in more dire situations who don't have the incentive to stay sick because they get paid for it.

I don't think she cheated either. As delicious as a narrative that would be, I speculate that maybe Bibi wanted to eventually have kids (With Chantal, ew. But he dated her so) and the hysterectomy confirmed that would never happen so he noped the fuck out. Seems like the most rational reason to me, can't think of anything else Chantal has done recently that would change his mind like that since he tolerated her abhorrent behavior all this time.

Agreed. I'm mostly curious about whether she's as weird of a person to live with as I think she is. Demon talking to her cats, that weird "tsh" thing she does with her mouth, eating in front of a camera and talking to herself while I'm trying to watch tv. Sounds like a bad roommate to me.

100%. you know damn well she goes in there "flexing" (not even close to a flex, but she thinks it is) that she does youtoooobe for a "living". doctors/therapists probably suggest that she gets a real job and she probably disagrees because she's not physically able to work for 8 even 4 hours a day. which is why she can't stop doing mooookbawwwngs because then she won't have any money. she's pretty much fucked either way and I can't say I really give. a shit or feel sympathy for her. no ones forcing her to be a fat fuck and if she's not strong enough to not hit the drive throughs when she's out then she's wasting everyones time. she's hopeless.

Did she say somewhere that she didn't tell her therapist about YouTube? I didn't hear it in the video. I seriously doubt she could talk to anyone for 45 minutes about her life and not mention YouTube. She was bragging about her failure of a channel - which consisted mostly of mukbangs - to the staff at the gym when she signed up for the first time. She boasted to viewers about how her trainer saw her videos - something she should have been ashamed of.

She has such a warped idea of human conversations/relationships. She probably told her therapist about her channel, and will be expecting the therapist to go through the entire thing in her spare time, just to educate herself on Chantal the YouTuber. I am positive she told the therapist about her legion of haters, and probably about Charlie Gold. I would LOVE to hear what her version of her life is. That therapist just got some top-notch entertainment delivered to her office.

She is so attention-deprived and void of human contact that she believed the manager at the gym was truly committed to seeing Chantal succeed - enough that she bragged about it to viewers and forked over another year's worth of membership money - two years in a row. She went on and on about how they truly cared about her at the gym, watched her videos, how the trainer made plans to meet up with her outside of work, how the manager called her at home to encourage her. It was all complete bullshit that she deluded herself into believing, all because a real life human was talking to her and she was entralled.

I will be generous and give Chantal two more visits before she quits.

I think it's presumptuous to assume all caregivers lack empathy. However, anyone worth their degree can tell Chantal is a lost cause from a mile away. She doesn't even try to be compliant.
 
I only half believe she saw a therapist. It was straight out of M6lb Life quotes. "That must have been painful for you" If she did see one, I hope the therapist is wise enough to see through her narc bullshit. Of course Chanty will tell her about yt. She will whine about all the abuse and how it reminds her of her childhood. I hope at that point the therapist points out that maybe if so many people have an issue with her, maybe she needs to look at HER behavior instead of blaming everyone else. But who am I kidding. She will only go maybe at the most, 4 times. Let's take bets. Problem is though, she will lie about it.
