Deleted, by the way.
Ugh. It's like he's wearing a mask to make his cheeks look fatter.

EDIT: LOL! And he still has a bit of a mustache! XD. Hey Jerry, newsflash! If you want to look like a girl, start with waxing your face!

Remember a while back I said the conditions for being considered a Native American could make blood relation not as important? As long your parents or current guardians raised you with the traditions to keep them alive and after being accepted by the elder of the tribe, then you can consider yourself part of it regardless of how much native blood there is actually on you. The culture is more important. Not all tribes works like this, but a majority do on America.

All this time Lily had a slight pass because maybe First Nation people in Canada work a different way. But if she insist about about being a Native American, but she does not keep the culture alive, was not raised with any of the traditions tipical of the tribe and has no contact at all with it then yes, her claim to that heritage is exactly the same as Warren's is pr any other white person who claimed to have 00000.4% of Cherokee on them.

You can't be part of a group you have never associated yourself with and does not recognize you. More so, her claim that she couldn't even attempt to contact the tribe and participate on their culture because then she would be forced to live on a reservation makes no sense because of the obvious distance. She could make some kind of contact online, try to learn about that heritage but the true is she doesn't care about it. Her only interest is self serving and, frankly, disrespectful for the people who struggle to reconnect with that side of their ancestry because of lack of accesability.

On that

Being a part of a tribe sounds like a who kind of thing to me. No one's saying you have to earn your ethnicity, they just doubt you're a part of it at all.
If an Asian guy tells me he's black, I won't say move to the hood and earn it, I'll call him a fuckin liar.
Also this

Lily disregarding completely the cultural aspect of native tribes feel rather convenient and disrespectful for those traditions. Many of them have survived extinction by keeping close to each other and sharing what they know only among themselves. If Lily is not willing to as much put the effort to get to know the tribe, then no, you don't deserve to be considered part of the tribe. It's rather simple. You can't consider yourself an artist if you don't make any kind of art.

Also, no, it's not your ethnicity either because ethnicity is not the same as ancestry. Basically ancestry refers purely to the result on a DNA test, something that Lily possibly might have some right to claim but most likely will never show us. But ethnicity is your cultural background around which you grow up with, including language, family and place of origin, all of which nowhere include Cherokee by Lily's own admission.

On this example:
If an Asian guy tells me he's black, I won't say move to the hood and earn it, I'll call him a fuckin liar.

That same Asian guy might have black ancestry somewhere, but their ethnicity is still Asian if that is the environment he was brought in.

In conclusion: Lily is a white woman in all the ways that matter, racially, culturally and ethnically, and her attempts of denying it like a Rachel Dolezal 2.0 are worthy of all the cringe.

This may be me being an insane autist, but I fully support bending whatever truths you need to on college applications. Because screw them, might as well use their own logic to benefit yourself when you can.
Jerry here seems to think that applies to real life.

This is why arguing with people like Lily can be so infuriating. They've build themselves up upon so much 'wokeness' that any attempts to point out how awful their methods are, or how they're abusing the very same rights they claim to support for clout, they always find some new way to shield themselves.

'Tone-policing', 'race-policing', 'trans-policing,' so on and so forth. You can't criticize Lily for openly admitting to not giving a shit about her cultural background but proudly bringing up her native heritage when its convenient because now you're criticizing her on 'how' she's Native American, implying there's a 'right' way to be one. You can't criticize her for being a transperson who puts no effort into appearing like the woman she claims to be because then you're trying to dictate what counts and what doesn't count as being trans.

It's always some new buzzword, some new phrase these people latch onto as an excuse to justify them being shitty, and that's all it really is at the end of the day; an excuse. It's okay for Lily to take nothing from her cultural background besides, apparently, her apartment's aesthetic because there's not a correct way to be Native American.

If you tell people you have Navajo ancestors, get a dream catcher tattoo and decorate your house with kachina dolls, well shit, I guess you're a real Navajo after all.

Snake! Smug fuckin snake! Anyone remember when Lily admitted to commissioning them but says it wasn't a big deal because she at least paid Patch?

I have never seen this before, throwing someone under the bus then smugly playing stupid. And using a fetish comic as justification.

Yeah no, Lily. Adhering to the culture of the Cherokee is exactly the requirement to maintain your ethnic identity.
Race is defined by biological features and genetic ancestry, but Ethnicity is defined by shared cultural practices.
If you don't know anything about the society, culture, language, history, traditions, or beliefs of the Cherokee, then guess what, you're not ethnically Cherokee.

So to recap, Lily has no desire to learn or reconnect with a culture she claims to be apart of.
But she’ll still use their culture to get a leg up in tumblr fights and uses their art as decorations for her apartment.
Sounds like the cultural appropriation if you ask me

Yes, we know what Lily is comfortable sharing. Like the way she shared the fact that she has no connection to her native heritage and no interest in connecting to it.
The fact that she also doesn't know the different between Race and Ethnicity and insists that she doesn't need to do anything to call herself ethnically Cherokee is a massive red flag, seeing as how it's basically a cliche at this point for White People in the US to tout some distant Cherokee ancestry as a badge of honor, even though they don't know the first thing about it.
In short, Lily looks very racist and ignorant through all of this.

We also have a new chapter of her Star Wars "rewrite" if anyone wants to put themselves through that.

Yeah, the mutant baby finds Comic Lily's pet's vibrator.
Considering Lily's disturbing obsession with little girls and sexuality, that idea is questionable at best coming from her.

You have to admire how Mikayla’s attempt at white knighting for Lily basically amounts “Nu uh, shut up” and telling people to kill themselves.
Lily has shown complete ignorance towards people she claims to be a part of and if anything is just making things harder for people who genuinely want to reconnect with their heritage but everyone else is racist for pointing this out.

As for the comic
>LILY HOW DO YOU KEEP ESCALATING LIKE THIS I’M DYING!
I though the same thing, albeit in a much different context.

If I'm correct, most Native American tribes (male and female) don't cut their hair, as they believe it is a connection to their soul. Jerry is depicted in the Gardevoir love comic as having short hair. Excuse my lateness, but that's clearly fraudulence even though my reasoning is shaky.

I'll get on that.
Yeah, the mutant baby finds Comic Lily's pet's vibrator.
So....like, I'm 100% sure Lily doesn't want this reading, but like, the implication to this "joke" is that the vibrator isn't for Gardevoir. So...y'know. there's that horrifying thought

I think it depends. In some tribes having long hair is just an identity thing, and then you have tribes like the Navajo where touching their hair is considered highly offensive. That's still more than the average whitebread jabroni like Jerry knows, though. Most non-Natives just lump them all together.

So of course he claims to be Cherokee, like every other dumbass trying to sound special.

Okay so lets get this bullshit started for chapter 4

Opening paragraphs are okay at best, Rey excitedly exploring aliana's ship even if it's inaccurate to the actual lore of the Fury class intercepter (I don't remember who of you guys shit on the depiction first, but whatever) it's described as so heavily modded that it almost feels trivial to point it out.

I don't know if it speaks to my inexperience with Star Wars Fanfiction, the quality of the sequel Trilogy's writing or what, but reys's characterization when not obsessed about aliana almost feels decent.

lot of back and forth dialogue between Rey and Aliana, mostly talking about backstory stuff detailing how Aliana has bartered to getting her ship how it is, and why she doesn't go to any of the core systems, and in a hilarious narrative move that can only be described as "lily" esplains the answer as because she dresses like a jedi and has a lightsaber on her waist.
1580768041988.png

I'm not joking. It's hilarious because swap out the word lightsaber with "Youtube channel" and suddenly it's literally just lily.
When asked "So why don't you just not take the lightsaber with you" the answer is 'because it keeps trouble away more than it causes trouble" which I guess works.

This chapter is mostly just back and forth dialogue with Rey and Aliana. a lot of this stuff was stuff with Finn in episode 7 so it feels kinda dumb

There's a paragraph where Aliana debates breaking the hard news to Rey that her parents are gone.
1580768533776.png

Finally something that's interesting. Aliana discloses her tragic backstory where her mom gets murdered, detailing an unprovoked attack by jedi and the jedi's padawan and killed her mother in two on one battle before trying to kill her. Details she managed to get into the fury and just ran. scene ends in them doing an emotional comforting hand touch.

So somewhere it was either deliberately left out of the first chapters or I missed it, but apparently Aliana just had Poe in a coma in the ships medbay and just decided taking him to a Resistance safehouse was a smart move. So either I'm stupid or lily deliberately withheld information in her writing. They pass Poe over to Senator in charge of the Safe house and then leave. I'm going to give credit where it's due and say that at the very least this is better than Poe just showing up at the end of episode 7 with no explanation

We transition to a scene from the perspective of Hux. Lily's hateboner for Kylo Ren is blindingly bright through the sheer level of disdain Hux has for Kylo Ren, making it sound like the first order would actually be better off with out a force user in their ranks.

Exchange between Hux and Kylo, breaks down into immediate violent manchild breakdown. I'll be honest with you, it's kind of amazing how with the one emotional outbreak from episode 7, the amount of people immediately jumping on this idea that Kylo can bearly hold in any emotion kind of gives the idea that no one really fucking gets it.

The more I read Lily's portrayal of Kylo Ren the more I get the vibe she's aiming for "Darth Helmet cosplayer, but trying to ignore the fact Spaceballs was a comedy, and somehow that makes it more funny"

The scene ends with this.
1580770806266.png

I sure hope lily has plans to make an actual antagonist for the rewrite because otherwise it's gonna be really, really boring with how little she cares about Kylo Ren, who is the primary antagonist. Also, it speaks to how little lily gives a shit about the fact that it was implied that, if not vader, than someone was talking to Ren through the helmet

We immediately swap back to Aliana and Rey
Rey has given Aliana a nickname with the justification of them being friends. Aliana blushes because gay.

a moment of near self awareness happens where Aliana subconciously makes items around her float in the air with her force powers because being near Rey makes her passion flare up, and because- Well I'm just gonna screen shot the dumb thing.
1580771256276.png

it feels self-aware, but I can't even be sure because this is Lily Orchard we're talking about.

Rey has no idea what soup is.

Rey also doesn't know what "Gay" is. Aliana just came out to Rey.

Apparently Rey didn't even know it was an option. I know Rey spent her whole ass life on Jakku, but I didn't think she was sheltered.
Theres an short narrative bit about how lgbt people are oppressed across the hutt ran parts of the galaxy, the republic, and the first order. It feels as natural as it sounds.

Also rey inadvertently flirts with Aliana, realises it's the third time she's done it, and has no idea why she is doing it.

also there's a throw away line about kids not being named Anakin anymore in the aftermath of the empire falling and...How widely known was the name Anakin and the association to the empire?

The chapter ends

It's divergent, but cotton candy like in how insubstantial the whole thing is.

eh, whatever/10
