See the (late) Doug "Fausty" Spink and friends' appropriation of social justice/gay rights rhetoric in the advocacy of zoophilia. Seriously, look at it and mentally replace all references to zoophilia and animals with gays. It reads exactly the same. He, after all, was a gay man in a long term relationship with a man began who's lust also went after larger cocks. Not claiming all gays want to fuck dogs or anything, to be clear, but it's an interesting connection in the larger SJW context. Fausty, FWIW, was never a rabid SJW before (I knew about him years ago in the context of an unrelated forum) until SJWery became a big thing, and then he latched onto their language and thought process to defend having carnal relations with horses and dogs. He was not a furry AFAIK but very furry-adjacent.

They already are. I think it was Washington where they are planning on getting rid of all gifted student programs because they weren't diverse enough.

That trailer also has a line from Cloud as he snarls "NOT. ONE. WORD!" about being dressed like that. Aerith teases him by calling him so cute. It's made very clear that Cloud does not enjoy this at all, but feels he has too.

And I guarantee you if Square Enix put out a statement saying Cloud was straight and cis, they’d throw a tantrum saying how Square is being transphobic and taking away from the LGBT community.
You start to notice how much of their beef with “gamers” is just projecting.
