I have my bucket of popcorn and foot soak ready for the spin doctoring DSP is going to be doing for the next week. My goodness, he may accidentally end up banning his entire chat.

Spent the better half of a long ride reading through his bankruptcy submission and catching up here. The only real question I have; is will John Rambo make a trip to visit him in prison?

Phil just tried to 1) claim that a simple visit to the doctor cost $700 and 2) implied heavily that it actually cost $700 out of his pocket, before he dropped the "well, insurance covered most of it". $700 is not just a quick sick visit. That would require bloodwork or some other sort of non-standard labwork. He's either lying about the cost or what the doctor did.

i'm glad I don't live in america

it costs me $12 USD to see the doctor and $2 USD per government funded medicine, obviously cancer treatment and stuff is expensive or a long wait in the medicare line

@tzgnilki have you still been logging the WWE Champions account's activity? This just added a whole other immanent layer of hilarity on to the enjoyment I get from reading your logs of his account's continued activity :)

Did he get $100 in tips today? Looks like he didn't have the cash to cover that trip when he filed today.

His paypal account that every tip goes into before it hits a bank account is nowhere to be found in that document. He either forgot to add or is trying to hide stuff. I honestly don't believe he only has a single checking account. Most banks don't even like you having just a checking account and will often require a savings account as well to cover overdrafts.

...Matter of fact, didn't he bitch about overdraft fees that were $35 a piece? Where the fuck were the overdrafts being pulled from? I find it hard to believe a bank would just put money into an account.

Got a question I think is relevant, but not gonna clog up the fancy question only thread. But @SoapQueen1 or @AnOminous what kind hot shot auditor/investigator does the court bring in to go over his financials, or is that cost covered by the debtors? And how much time do they have to research Phils claims; is it covered by the 60 days the debtors have to say yay/nay?

The court will appoint a trustee to manage the estate, which is a separate entity from the actual debtor whose name is on it. This is a legally trained person whose job it is to represent the estate itself. They try to maximize the value of the estate to its creditors and other stakeholders. This can involve suing the debtor or even referring him for criminal charges.

As fun as it would be to see the pigroach go to jail, the usual response to fraud is kicking you out of bankruptcy, not criminal prosecution. But if it goes that way, you're probably going to lose all your shit.

DSP is approaching this in a super stupid way, it's like he's just randomly pushing buttons.

In his bankruptcy filing I'm 99% certain Phil also listed a Savings account with the same bank and reported it as having $0 in it.

Going over his month to month thing and showing he's less than negative $100 a month is hopefully gonna light a fire under some of his paypigs about how stupid it was for him to not try to work with a property management company to even make a bit of money off his CT property. Or in the weird universe where these financials were completely honest; he could've whored himself out on that website where influencers do custom messages for people. At $5 a pop, could've had plenty of fans or whoever make him say stupid shit for a couple minutes of effort.

As an aside, I can't help noting how none of this would be on anyone's radar at all if Phil had just kept his fucking mouth shut about money in general. You know, like most professional public-facing personas. He marked himself by constantly bringing up his finances for a decade. Even if you didn't like him, or didn't understand why people gave him money, most likely no one would even bother looking to see if DSP was filing for bankruptcy or was being sued unless through some major coincidence or stalker levels of desperation had he not ever brought up his earnings and losses himself. Good job, Phil. Your stupid ass painted the biggest god damned target possible on your face.

Leave it to DSP to find a lawyer as incompetent as he is to let him file such an erroneous, incomplete, and fraudulent document.

There’s no way a person with half-a-brain whose career and business is solely dedicated to bankruptcy reviewed such a document and let him file it.

I believe that Phil either lied to his lawyer or omitted crucial information.

That, or she found a methodology with massaging the financials that would enable him to pass a Chapter 7 bankruptcy with an income as high as DSP’s.

Anyways, it appears that stupid attracts stupid in this case...

So what document can we expect next? A notice of form received by the court or straight to judgement?

he could go without dinner one week a month and break even

edit: how does this guy think sleeping with the heating on is a good idea, then goes into his office and opens the window, letting all this cold air in and wonders why he's getting sick

his immune system is climatised to his incubator

he's definitely taking time off, filing for bankruptcy was hard work
