Rush Limbuagh, love or hate him, pointed out a long time ago that "The left always overreach." And it's an atomic clock level of certainty. For whatever reason, they just CANNOT STFU. Maybe its the attention seeking, maybe it's the virtue signaling for social credit or maybe it's because they are developmentally stunted and still mental children making up fantasy worlds and telling mommy. But it always holds true and it torpedoes them every time. Fortunately.

In my old career, I interacted with everyone from lawyers to 9 figure CEOs to DC pols to dog catchers, Mickey D workers and road crew. The one thing you quickly learn is that the smart person is the exception rather than the rule across the employment spectrum. And the higher you go up the ladder, the more stupid you encounter.

Over the course of the past year, I this is what I believe happened with Monica.

Monica has always talked about Vic behind his back when she was with other voice actors. However, when the Yost twins told her about Vic's advances, she got angry and was determined to destroy his life.

On a different subject, did anyone ever figure out who the blurred girl was in the ANN "Far from Perfect" smear and was on the first page of Fuehrer's Motion to dismiss under TCPA?

Yes, I did. I was disappointed and kinda like "well, another one bites the dust. Bye." It stung because he was a voice of my youth, but I didn't care. I was L&G to it and found out on Tumblr of all places. Someone posted a link to the Hanleia tweet and as I read through the comments I expected to see some real accusations but all I saw was "yes we've always known, everyone knows he's a creep, I heard, my friend heard, my third cousin's baby daddy's brother heard," and I was like where's the accusations of he grabbed me or he groped me? I see complaints of him being a jerk and hugging. "Everyone knew" isn't good enough. Even the people in the thread were confused of the anti semitism.

So someone linked his apology video and honestly, that's when I knew. That's a broken man in that video. Fuck anyone who says otherwise.

Supporters saved his life. Don't ever forget that.

I sorta believed at first because it came on the tailwind of other people who really were guilty of harassment.
But back then I didn't do research.
Since then, I read up on some posts and analyzed behaviors. Vic's defense last week and Jamie Marchi's constant responses cemented it for me.

Honestly, I suspect that many VAs are KV if only to get jobs. Read: Sean Chiplock and SungWon Cho. Either that or they just don't have time to truly delve deep into all of this.

They were trying to oust him when Broly was being cast - she sort of confirmed that in her depo when she said that the Japanese VA had been recast (which is a lie), so they wanted to recast the American VA.
Huber backs that up in his affidavit.

Don't, for a second, believe her when she frames this about "teh victims" ... it was never about them. The little rumors passed around by the femcel fujoshits on Twitter were just a convenient tool.

I agree that they quietly tried to get him out before this. I was just pointing out that she went from not liking him to being angry. This is when she became publicly vocal, almost like she had malice toward him.

What!? Japan doesnt recast VAs lightly. The fucking VA for a background lore character died mid persona 5 production, and everyone thought the game was going to be rewritten to nyx that character because Japan weabs fucking detest when a VA changes. Those fucks would rather cancel a series (The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya was outright ended because interest had died when fans found out the VA had sex) than recast. They arent Funimation where they will recast you for not slobbing Sabats dong. You are that character until you disgrace yourself or die.

Alternative theory is that Michelle wound everyone up.

Or Sabat was jealous.

Or a combination of all three. At the end of the day the raw material was out there, they just needed to use it.
 
My Theory is pretty similar,
there is a German word "Cliquenwirtschaft" which literally translates to "clique economy".
It describes the habit of people to preferably hire friends and fire outsiders.
It's small scale Nepotism/corruption.

Their Clique had control over most of Funimation,
they could hire the people they wanted and fire the people didn't want,
Vic wasn't part of their "clique", he was an outside threat to their power,
he needed to go away.

The sad part is, that Vic either didn't realize what was going on,
or he didn't realize that he wasn't part of it.

I don't think I ever believed it. I remember hearing about it and I thought "what? What the fuck is this all about?" and I started looking into it. He's one of the only voice actors I've really liked and knew his name. Sure enough, the accusations turned out to be bullshit (or highly suspect) as I expected. I just don't believe these accusations at first word and I need evidence to be sure. I mean it doesn't really matter what I think but what the truth is. However I have a hard time condemning anyone especially if I know that I know nothing.

Jumped to conclusions before, will do it again and again. I always regret it. All you have to do is stop and think before opening your mouth or posting on social media but people don't fucking do it. They just jump right in. God forbid they ever find themselves as a target.

People seem to think that in 2020 we are different people. Theres no lynchings anymore, we're post racial, etc. Society is exactly the same and roles have just switched around. And stupid people who don't think don't see it.

That's what bugs me about all this. "It's classified." Like they got state secrets or shit like that.

Seems like a small step to fascism to me. Train everyone to accept "That's classified" as a reason.
