This entire attitude is just disturbing. What makes it more disturbing is just how low the threshold is for being a terf. This isn't saying they want to defend themselves against crazy people who want to kill all trannies, this is wanting to seek out and murder/rape/otherwise harm people for the crime of thinking you can't change your sex and are still a man.
Not even joking, before I gave up on reddit I made the mistake of trying to have a rational discussion where my point was you live how you want but you can't expect others to participate in what amounts to an opinion, and it's ridiculous to disown your family over this. The backlash and anger I received was incredible. Some of these people are unhinged and they as a group should take it seriously. Let's hope the lgb gets fed up and kicks them out soon.

I get the strangest feeling this is a miscommunication and what was actually being talked about was a packer.
I don't think a 13 having a small vibe is inherently wrong. She's probably just starting to hit puberty snd it's much safer to let her have a small sex toy to explore herself with than letting her get involved in high risk sexual behavior- common with troons. I get a lot of people don't want and shouldn't want to think about teens having sexual experiences but there's a line between pedo grooming and fostering healthy views of their body / giving them a healthy foundation for their sexuality. Teenagers are curious about sexual things, it's fact. Giving them resources or tools that are appropriate to where they are in life is also part of being a parent.

Vibrator for a teenager... Vibes are wierd gift to anyone you'ra not dating and the idea does kinda creep me out but ultimately I probably would get one. I guess I see it same as getting a pack of condom, not the ideal but I can't really stop you and you trying to figure it out on your own could be dangerous. Home made sextoys tend to not be the safe sextoys (there're books about what ER have taken out people's butts and stuff). That to be said it would be nothing fancy, just a simple, small and low power basic vibrator. But the idea of someone else (even if it's your kid's friend's mom) giving your child a sex toy is what makes me uncomfortable. I just know that in a theoretical situation, I would not be giving my kid's friend something like that. No matter how "wacky" I may be - it just seems to cross boundaries onto inappropriate-land.
