It looks like a fronto nasal dysplasia of something kind. Hypertelorism and maybe a bifid nose. Mid line defect, basically. Several mutations/syndromes can do this as can chemical insults to the foetus. Quite a few of these syndromes can also cause anogenital abnormalities too. Would be rather tragic if this kid has been groomed by the troons who try to target kids with genital abnormalities and birth defects.
And when they do find out, they usually brush it off as transphobic propaganda.
I totally agree. You almost have to doctor-shop to find an endo that’s forthright about the long term effects of blockers and HRT. Most of them just want those sweet, sweet troon dollars. They consider things like osteoporosis and liver failure as “secondary” in terms of informing their patient’s decision. The way ethics have been tossed out the window in favor of progressive talking points is horrifying.
If a woman isn't comfortable sharing a bathroom with a troon, you can't force her to do that. They aren't keeping the troon out, they are just choosing not to use the same bathroom. If you try to force them, you'll only make them hate the troon more. And she doesn't have to use the same bathroom as the troon, so her opinion is irrelevant. I don't care how nice the troon is, I don't want to share a bathroom. If there was only one bathroom available, they'd have to suck it up or quit. But they've solved the problem themselves and still it isn't enough. Suck the girl dick and kiss the troon ass, bigots.
I want a "Mentally Disabled" Toilet for these troons, I don't want them in our restrooms.
Does the informed consent model absolve doctors of responsibility for side effects?
I’ve been to Arisia, which is a science fiction convention, and you can get a pronoun ribbon to add to your badge. They put pieces of paper saying ‘unisex’ over the men’s and women’s bathroom signs (and yes, there are plenty of kids at this event).
It’s because it’s all about “validation”, the feelings of others be damned. Frankly, they should just design bigger bathroom stalls that are unisex, with things like urinals and toilets in each stall. They should just make the walls impossible to see inside of, and have a vacant/occupied sign for the lock (like on airplane toilets). It would definitely be expensive, but at least no troon can make a complaint.
I don’t actually know enough about the laws surrounding informed consent, I think a few pages back either here or in the parents of transgender kids (or maybe even the jazz Jennings general? God I’m on the farms too much) were talking about it, and mentioned that with informed consent doctors aren’t required to list out every side effect, only ones that are relative to the immediate health and well-being of the patient. The assumption is that the patient will have done their due dilligance and researched the prescription themselves. Still, the average person isn’t the kind of autist that you or I seem to be, that reads through the prescription info packet on every medication. They hear their doctor wave them through with permission and just trust that all’s well.
Because that generally is true. If you live in the US, new drugs go through lots and lots of trials and studies before they can go to market. They don’t know that isn’t true for HRT. Why would doctors be allowed to prescribe something that hasn’t been tested?
