That rant was gold, I can't wait for clips of it. I hope he did legit say "they found something" and then corrected it to "they made something up". If that's true it will be amazing.

Edit: I hope his top contributor makes him make a giant Hulk Hogan statue.

Actually, nudnig, he was talking about WWE Supercard, a game which everyone knows he played forever ago. He's never heard of this, what was it... -squints- WWE Champions.... Nope, never. Though he has played lots of other gatcha games and is very familiar with their business practices and big events though he did avoid mentioning ever paying.

Be careful with anything he said tonight - he was talking about playing WWE Supercard. I think he is trying to use that to suggest that we're mixing up info about the games.
For the whole rant, including when he listed all the games he ever played, he avoided mentioning that he has ever played WWE Champions.

It's actually super easy to combat detractors. Just say the following thing: "The TheyCallMeDSP account in WWE Champions is not me. I have not spent 3, 4, or 5 digits on WWE Champions." Don't even have to give us the actual account name!

But pathological liars know exactly how to evade and deflect from making clear, explicit denials, because a clear, explicit denial gives them no room to maneuver.

There's a similar video linked earlier in this thread from September 2018 where he talks about playing WWE Champions and Future Fight as well. He's lying completely.

Phil did that with WWE Supercard in early 2016, and he lied. It was easily proven he was still playing excessively immediately after.

There really isn't a way Phil could combat detractors because his lies are endless. The only thing he can do is ignore things and hope they go away, or admit he's financially retarded and risk losing paypiggies.

DSP will have no choice but to whale if he wants to stay competitive

I wonder if he'll be smart enough to cut his losses and bail on the game at this point, or is he so addicted he'll just keep it up hoping his lies will cover him forever?

whales knew this event was coming since early january, could the upcoming 4hr pre-beg stream be connected to this?

if we see him set a tips goal, feign distress, then end up with all these new cards...

also he has no choice of what wrestlers are displayed on his profile, it defaults to his strongest wrestlers, so when he juices up these new characters, they will replace what he has on his profile atm

I also think he's doubling down on lying, because feigning distress is against TOS and he'll be suspended or banned, he has asked for people to buy groceries and haircuts too many times to now admit to spending thousands on hairy men

It will be interesting if he attempts to upkeep his account with so many eyes on it now. But Phil is the walking embodiment of sunk cost fallacy--he doesn't want to throw away junk, doesn't want to sell his statues lower than the price he bought them, doesn't want to sell the WA Condo. It'll be tough to give it up.

Also I suspect he will have the social/peer pressure of his guildmates to keep him spending. If he is not pulling his weight in the guild events due to insufficient investment of time and/or money, he will be dead weight (aka a "no-loader" in DSP-speak) and get booted from one of his few remaining online social circles where he can flex his e-peen.
