I worked with a diabetic woman in a wheelchair. And by Tumblr logic, she was even more oppressed because she was black. She still showed up to all of her shifts.

She died not long before I ended up quitting to go back to school due to complications with her diabetes. She was a really kind lady. I still regret not going to her funeral but at the time I felt like I would be out of place somehow.

One time when we were bored we got the idea to have her and our other coworker in a wheelchair joust with brooms. She really went after him and sped up towards him while he was shrieking and regretting everything.

Those were good times.

That sounds just fucking awesome on so many levels, I can only imagine some one walking in mid joust doing a double take an walking away muttering something like "Fuck this for a bounty of bananas" an sniffing their coffee and wondering if that was sugar they put in there coffee.

Good thing it was a weekday afternoon and nobody was coming in to see movies.

But yeah. She was in a wheelchair due to some kind of birth defect. She was very small. But she was an absolute sweetheart and never had a bad word to say about anybody, and I have no doubt her life must have been pretty rough, rougher than IDCP's life has ever been.

But then again, she was also cis, so I'm sure IDCP probably would have hated her.

Do they even make them in that size? Like I've never looked cuz sex stuffs never interested me that much, but I'd expect them to be. ...bigger? Thicker? Slightly more fake looking and without that dynamic red shading on it?
