You know, it must really suck for the less crazy trannies, who trooned out before 2008 to have their movement associated with such deviance, autism, and extreme mental illness. It's kind of like waking up in the middle of a zombie apocalypse.
I am convinced that this 41% number skyrocketed after gstekeeping became more lax and doctors were forced to agree with the diagnosis of GID instead of genuine incoming diagnosis like OCD, Autism, psychopathy, sexual abnormality, body dysmorphia, oppositional defiant disorders, personality disorders, brain damage, and mental re-tardation. The transmovement will continue to crumble under its own weight until the trans-identity becomes remedicalized, denounces psychos, and cuts off the supply of titty skittles to said psychos.
 
People in the replies are playing defense of course, telling OP that her search results must be tailored to her or otherwise manipulated, and that the actual results for trans stats are ranked lower on their end, and trans women matter too yadda yadda

They're missing the point. When someone's looking up the statistics on women being victimized, crazy men in wigs shouldn't come up in the results at all unless they're the perps. Not only are there almost no trans victims of violence, the few instances that exist are their own fault. Whether it's by prostituting themselves to dangerous men without disclosing they're men themselves or threatening cops with knives.

I want to know a lot more about the awkward-teen-to-troon pipeline, partly because it's funny, but also partly because I'm afraid that I might have gone down that path had I been born a few years later.

ROGD offers many things to get kids hooked:

It allays their fears: No, you’re not broken or defective, you’re just trans.

It confirm their suspicions: Yes, people really do want to hurt you because you’re trans. It’s not your fault, it’s their fault because they are evil.

It justifies their failures: The world is actively out to get you because of your trans identity, that’s why you lose at life. It’s the patriarchy’s fault.

It encourages their dreams: With this secret knowledge, you can hatch into a more true version of yourself, and become who you always were.

It helps them throw rocks at their enemies; in the form of crybullying and suicide threats. Anything less than complete, unconditional affirmation is an act of violence that will cause the ROGD teen to kill themselves, and the victimizer will be morally culpable.

With all those factors, it’s very easy for a teen looking for solace to dive in deep. The online hugbox reinforces the delusion, and they get stuck in this pattern of thinking: the world hates you because you’re trans, period. Such people are vulnerable to this kind of emotional reasoning; I feel like I am being harmed/may be harmed, therefore I am harmed. It compliments the victim mentality of the online ROGD movement perfectly.

Like any good cult, they encourage their members to cut out everyone else, further building emotional dependence on the group. Trying to escape or even question the dogma means turning your back on all of the friends you have and having to face your long-buried traumas. So they double down. They compete to be the most "woke". They go from questioning, to queer, to full-blown troon.

It is this schoolyard line of thinking that keeps them emotionally arrested in adolescence, forever immersed in the things that made them feel good. They are also very eager to continue to consume more material that further confirms this world view, which sites like Gawker are happy to supply in abundance. After all, in the attention economy, who has more wealth than someone who spends every waking moment online obsessively? It’s a good deal for the media too, since anything that provokes a reaction of anger tends to be high-engagement and is more likely to go viral. Grifters and con artists as well are happy to join in, since the abundance of Geek Social Fallacies means there’s no way to expel them.

ROGD stems from a need to cope with a damaged sense of self-esteem and blame someone else for your misery. This is why troons don’t want their problems solved. They need the scapegoat. They cannot let their true self ever see the light of day. Which is kind of ironic, given how much troons claim that their transgender self is the true one.

Men dying in battle is pretty stupid too, imo, and it's not just a "war on men."

It's a war on women too.

Troons are not threatening men with violence on a daily basis like they're doing to women. They're not having them arrested like they've been doing to women. They've not pushed them out of jobs or got them fired like they've been doing to women. They've not demanded that the nouns "man" or "father" be banned from Universities and hospitals etc., like they've been demanding for the nouns "woman" and "mother" to be banned (with some success too). They've not been demanding to be pushed in front of men for male health care like they've been doing to women. They have not been attacking gay men for not wanting to date transmen with the same vitriol or threatened them with violence like they have been doing to gay women for not wanting to suck "girl dick." They have not pushed men out of their bathrooms and changing rooms like they have done to women...

...most likely because they would get a smack in the mouth if they pulled the same shit on men.

yeah and their peers who previously made fun of them or excluded them for being dorky and autistic are now cheering them on for being so brave, at least at high schools in hyper liberal parts of the country

eventually, those kids will grow up and find partners relatively easily and have kids and the ones who trooned out in middle school won’t. even if they detransition it won’t be the same. infertility clinics across America will be filled with sad, scratchy-voiced women. I don’t know if it’ll be worse for the lesbians or the straight ones—differently bad, maybe.

everybody talking about it avoids mentioning anything specific and jus says "passed away", so it's almost certainly suicide. for some reason leftists are super afraid of saying "he killed himself" or "he committed suicide", so they try to dance around it by being as vague and non-specific as possible, and that's exactly what is happening here.

If they acknowledged how they died then they would have to acknowledge the various uncomfortable facts about transitioning. If being trans to these people isn't a mental illness then admiting that they routinely dab off this mortal plane shatters the illusion that the spin doctors have created doesnt it? The lack of honesty within thier community is probably the biggest killer next to botched surgries and poor mental well being.
