Nah Ron deserves ALL the harassment he gets and more. He deserves to be harassed in his private life too. He deserves to have his clients know what kind of person he is. I know I know there is the whole "being the better person", but somehow I feel like that got us in the predicament we are in ,as a society, in the first place because these people dont get a taste of their own medicine.
 
I think Ron and Monica are hiding some real damages that occurred to them based on this.

I don't think his departure from the Tuttle Group into another firm was merely coincidental. He has been doing less and less, his presence has been minimal. Hell he hasn't even been allowed in the courtroom for quite some time now.

Something happened along the way. And this is just fallout.

But this is also only the beginning.

When you say "based on this" what is this? The deletion of twitter account? The lawsuit? The moving to another firm? Also what damages are you thinking happened? Financial? Reputation? possession?

This is not a callout, but a request for clarification.

I didn’t buy into the idea that Ron moving to a subsidiary company was a planned good thing. I figured it was the Tuttle group creating some distance from him because he was so toxic. Can you imagine the ISWV autists that must have bombarded them with shit?

My assumption is that whoever Ron went under(mortgage firm) told him to try and keep his participation lowered at the beginning after being moved. Then once the dismissal occurred, he got brave thinking it was over. Once appeals happened, he started getting angry. Then when the fees and sanctions came, they went from thinking "lol going to court to get paid" to paraphrase Monica, to now being stuck with a 180k bill. Worse than that though, the firm may want what they are owed before this case even goes to appeals(the higher ups at Wick Phillips may not feel confident about this anymore), and that would mean they want their 280k now. The toxic shit is just a cop out obviously.

More importantly though, he has been ousted as a certified wife beater and potential animal abuser, and a violent person. Also thinks that women that are not as strong willed are weak and deserve no basic respect we would typically give people, and so a misogynist. With all this, no amount of emotes and #stillfired is gonna reverse that.

If you guys remember correctly, Ron used to do con sponsorships directly under the Tuttle Group. That's the sponsorship Ron was talking about to Slatosch.

Iirc Ron has supported multiple local events.
I mean, it isn't an uncommon practice. People buy booth space and give a donation to the con and get to throw their branding around a bit. It's pretty commonplace where I'm at, nothing anyone really bats an eye at. And some cons offer up spaces for certain companies or organizations. That's more of a comic con thing versus an anime con thing though.

Edit: Just wanted to add in regards to sponsorship deals the comic con in my area had given a booth to the State Supreme Court bug they dressed it up cute and had a little minigame for the kids plus some informational pamphlets.

And then from the sponsorship side there has been real estate groups who put their money in the pot.

I don't remember what sort of company sponsors the anime cons but I think it was a media group who does.

It is the only one the public knows of. The stay on discovery prevented any further information from coming out.

Ron is known to be manipulative. He would know that you offer someone a "carrot" then threaten to remove the "carrot" if they don't do what they say.

He may very well have done a similar trick to every convention. Ron probably used Monica as a bargaining token if he didn't have a legitimate business interest in the area. Ron could have threatened other sponsors as well. The "Vic is going to be arrested" line would spook anyone.

Once discovery happens, this thing is going to be a very deep rabbit hole that may well test the limits of the Farms autism.

Ron curated his own personal fiefdom in Twitter land. No one could reach his tweets. I think Ron went crazy in the echo chamber and you're just covering, BT.
